Chapter 38

May's POV

I'm not sure why I forgave Matt. I'm so weak and fragile , I always forgive people easily. But I hope Matt won't do it again.

I hope.

After talking about some junk and after kissing Matt's cheek which was quite awkward , we took a stroll at the beach. It only took us a few minutes to get there.

"We've been skipping school alot" I told him. "It felt like forever since we were at school" He said. The light beachy winds blew our faces softly. The sand felt good on my bare feet. The sun was about to set soon and I can't wait to see it with Matt.

Whenever I'm around him, I always feel safe but I feel like he's dangerous at the same time. One minute he would hug me or kiss me , acting sweet around me but will change the next minute. Cheats on me, make my heart even more broken. I feel like he's an angel but a devil at the same time.

"May?" Matt shook my body gently. I woke up from my deep thoughts. "I um" "Deep thinking?" He asked. I nodded my head. "Of? What were you deep thinking about?" He asked concerned.

Should I?
Or nah?
I should.
But I don't want too.
But he deserves to know.
But I'll break his heart.
No I can't

"It's about school" I lied. "Owh. For a second I thought that you were thinking about me" He said.

I was , Matt. I'm lying.

"Why would I even?" I faked laughed. "About the past. The cheating, the party , the kissing thing, the bullying thing..." He paused. I frowned a little. This relationship, between Matt and I, it all happened fast. TOO fast.

Both of us kept quiet. "It happened too fast May" he continued. He sounded like he was about to cry.

"It did Matt" I said. "But I had a blast with you" I looked at him. "You had a blast when I cheated on you?" He giggled sarcasticly. I tried to hold in my tears. "I wouldn't call it a blast May" He said. It kinda broke my heart a little. "So you never appreciated what I did to you?" I raised my voice a little.

We both stopped walking. He looked at me in the eye and said "What?" "You heard me" I said. "No May. Of course I appreciate it. I meant the cheating part. What did you think I was meaning?"

Stop Matt stop. You know I don't like this. Stop.

"Answer me" He said, lifting his voice. I was scared. I mumbled out a few words, not knowing what the heck I was saying. Matt grabbed my wrist and looked into my eyes. I looked away. "Look at me" He said. A tear escaped my eye. I slowly turned my head facing him.

He hugged me tight. I hugged him back. Oh how I love his hugs. "I'm so sorry" He said. I just hugged him, not saying a word. "I'm so sorry" He said and planted his face on my shoulder.

Yes Matt. Our love happened to fast. It had went through a lot of shit but I love you no matter what and that is what really matters.
