Chapter 8

May's POV

There were 14 boys lining up in a straight line, each of them holding a cardboard heart with fake flowers sticking on them.

Each of them with the words 'be my girlfriend'. I examined them, it was Matt's friends, the 10 jocks, excluding Matt and 4 more from Matt's football friends.

i was confused.

and Matt, out of the blue, got down on his knees, a red rose on his hand. He took my hand with his free hand and said-

"May Emily Smith, I know i've been an ass," he paused then continued. "But i've fancied you for a long fucking time. I asked you for forgiveness and you gave it to me, i couldnt be any happier," a crowd started forming, staring in awe. My eyes were getting teary. "so i'm kneeling in front of you on this fine weather,asking you one thing and i hope you accept," he paused.

it's killing me, the suspense.

"May, will you do the honors of being my girlfriend?" he smiled, hope sparkling in his eyes. The crowd which were forming at the back were stunned. The Matthew Espinosa, just asked Mat Smith to be his official girl.

I won't be suprised if there were rumors around the school.

A 30 second pause. I was trying to get my thoughts together. I wanted to jump and wrap my arms on his body. "Y-yes" i stammered. Tears flowing down my cheeks.

The crowd went wild. Matt got up and hugged me really tight.

then he kissed me.

His lips brushed to mine was the best thing that ever existed. (a/n:what about pizza may?)

It felt like the whole world stopped and just froze. His hands moved to my waist while mine was at his back then on his neck.

lip bites, tongue fighting, fuck.

he pulled away, smiling. he intertwined our hands and our foreheads and noses touched. the bell rang, ruined this magical moment. "fucking bell" matt whispered.

i laughed and pulled away. he walked me to my next class. when we arrived, matt whispered something in my ear. "i'll see you at lunch babe" and kissed my cheek.

I smiled and nodded. he walked slowly to his class, kept turning his head back at where i was standing.

i giggled. i waved at him then stepped into the classess.
