Thomas then stepped out into the open. He was dressed in what clothes had been like back then, or now depending on your point of view, with a white ladybug fan T-shirt and a blue jacket. His jeans were worn more towards the ends, and his old, worn sneakers were a little dirty but other than he looked like any boy from this time. Emilie was also dressed appropriately for this time, with comfortable long-sleeved T-shirt and white capris with flats. Her blonde hair was tucked into a comfortable ponytail.

On the surface, the two siblings were nothing alike. The younger brother had dark, bluish-black hair that was short and unkempt, with green eyes that stood out amongst his pale skin. The older sister had long blonde hair that stretched to the square of her back and blue eyes that were very apparent against her pink lips. But you could see some similarities in the shape of their faces and their apparent mannerisms.

"Okay," Thomas said. "We're here in the past and we have to find Hawk Moth despite there already being another Hawk Moth in this time."

"That does make it difficult," Emily said. "And we can't just wait for someone to be akumatized because it could be either one of them." She then put her hand to her chin, deep in thought. "We know that he can't go after the Ladybug and Cat Noir of today because he could change the future. But if he goes to the current Hawk Moth and helps him achieve his goal, but that would put him dangerously close to him..."

Thomas's stomach growled. "Can we strategize after we get breakfast? I'm kinda hungry and all we have is Macaroons and Camembert. Hardly the breakfast of champions"

"Alright but we need to make it quick"

They found a local cafe where they took a couple of chocolate croissants and black coffees to go. "These aren't as good as the ones grandpa makes," Thomas said while munching on his pastry. "But it'll have to do."

Emilie barely paid attention to her croissant as she continued to think out possible locations for Hawk Moth.

"He could try to contact Hawk Moth through email or something, but then again there's no guarantee that he'll even believe him or help him. Maybe through his Akumas? That could be an option..."

"Hey! You kids?! What do you think you're doing?!"

Emily looked over to Thomas. She looked at the sweaty, red headed police officer in the polo shirt.

"Excuse me?" she asked

"I've seen it before. A couple of school ditchers huh? I'm calling your parents right now!"

"But wait," Thomas was beginning to say, "We're not, we don't..."

"Yeah, a likely story." the cop said. "You're coming with me" He then grabbed the two teens by the arm and took them away. Before they could explain that they weren't ditching school but were time travelers here to save the future, they were dragged to a large school with large, brown doors at the entrance. The arc above the doors stated, Collège Françoise Dupont. Students were already beginning to make their way to their classrooms as the siblings were dragged up the stone steps. There, the cop met with a man with a broad chest and striking facial hair. He wore a brown suit and looked very stern. The cop then handed them over to him. "As you can see Principal Damocles Sir, I have caught these two youngsters who were trying to ditch school. I hope they learned their lesson and will not do it again."

"Yes, thank you, Officer Rodger. I'll take of these students myself," he said as the officer turned to leave. "Well come now, let's get you straightened out in my office."

"So, why are two students like yourselves trying to ditch school?" the principal inquired. While Emilie tried to think of a way out of this mess, Thomas was actually excited. He was in a meeting with the Owl! He didn't have any magical powers if Thomas remembered correctly, but he was a small-time hero who helped the common people when they needed help. He was also Akumatized at one point and became the Dark Owl, one of Ladybug and Cat Noir's most difficult opponents. Then he realized, almost everyone here was either a superhero or akumatized at one point, sometimes both! He wanted to meet all of them while they were young. So Thomas quickly responded,

"Well, sir, we didn't mean to ditch school you see. We're actually exchange students from Picardy and we got lost!"

Emilie looked at him in frustration. What are you doing?! She shouted in her mind.

"Exchange students huh?" the Principal said. "Well it's only understandable. Paris is a large city after all. I'm sorry about the mix-up. Officer Roger can be a little overzealous at times. What class were you going into?"

"I believe it's Ms. Bustier's class." Thomas responded. "I remember because Adrien Agreste was in that class. I'm a fan of his! I can't wait to meet him!"

"Well then, it shouldn't be too much of an issue." the Principal responded. "I'll take you over there right now. Could I have your names?"

"I'm Thomas..." he tried to think of a good fake last name. He couldn't give his own, as that could cause some very bad things to happen."Dupain. Thomas Dupain"

Emilie slapped her forehead. How am I related to this idiot? She questioned. "And I'm his sister, Emilie"

"Well then, let's get you off to class." As the teacher gave them a short tour on the way to their class, Emilie chewed out her brother. "What are you doing?!" she whispered, trying not to draw Mr. Damocles' attention. "We can't stay here! We have a mission to do!"

"What were we supposed to say? That we were time travelers? Who'd believe that? Besides, if we play our cards right, it could give us a good chance to keep an eye out for Hawk Moth in case our Hawk Moth tries to make contact."

"You really didn't think this through, did you? Your obsession with the Miraculous holders could cause us to alter the past and change things! Plus Dupain? You chose grandpa's last name?! Don't you think Mom will notice when someone who has the same name as her Dad just shows up? If we get out of this without changing the past it will be..."

"Miraculous?" Thomas said with a smirk.

"You're an idiot." She said in frustration.
