Miraculous: Tales of Ms. Ladybug and Tom Cat

Part 53-Black Moth

"Well, I don't. Now, you're all going to be defeated at my hand. And when all of you are gone, I'll finally be the strongest! I can prove to the world that I'm strong enough to have every Miraculous and overcome every challenge!"

While the villain began to monologue, he failed to notice the white time-portal opening beside him.

 Before he could make his Cataclysm any bigger than it already was, Cat Blanc was hit in the ribs by a familiar-looking green harp. In his injured state, he quickly fell over. Viperion quickly jumped him and took his ring from his hand.

"Chat Noir!" he called. "His ring is where his Akuma is! You need to destroy it!"

He quickly tossed it in Cat Noir's direction, but it was quickly caught greedily by Hawk Moth. 
"It's finally mine!" he called. "Chat Noir's Miraculous! It's finally MINE!" He gave out an evil laugh as he released the Akuma from the ring, causing Thomas to de-transform. Emilie rushed to his side. "Thomas!" 

She quickly checked on him. He was slightly injured, but nothing serious. His ribs were most likely bruised after that being cataclysmed, but that was probably the worst of it.

She carried him off the scene, careful to be gentle with his ribs. As the siblings fled from the scene, Plagg emerged from the ring, looking exhausted after being trapped inside the ring.

"Ugg," he said. "What happened?" The kwami then looked up to see the Hawk Moth with the ring in his hand, and a giant evil grin on his face. "Oh no. OH NO! Chat Noir! Ladybug! Do something!"
"Too late little heroes!" Hawk Moth called, securing the ring around his finger. "Nooru, Plagg, Unify!"

As he called out the phrase, the kwami was sucked into the ring, and Hawk Moth's purple suit was combined with a black outline as cat ears sprouted from his head. His eyes turned green as a metal staff appeared in the hand opposite of his cane. Looking over his new outfit, he gave an evil laugh. "I am now unstoppable!"

Viperion wasn't going to let this happen. "Not if I can help it." he said, "Second..." BAM! He felt the impact as the sentimonster hit him in the form of Cat Noir. He quickly rubbed the back of his head as the monster pushed him to the ground, knees on his arms to prevent him from reaching his bracelet and turning back time.

Dang it! he thought. This is it. No going back. How can this get any worse?

"You think you're unstoppable old-man?!" a new voice cried. 

Viperion sighed. I just had to ask.

"You're nothing but a desperate and foolish man trying to prove he's big! Your ambition is a lie you tell to yourself to justify what you're doing!"

As the new combatant stepped into the light, an audible gasp was heard from everyone at the scene. The man who approached had a silver mask with black dots on it, and a cape that was an elegant maroon with a pattern of butterflies and spots. On his chest was a purple butterfly pendant, and on his ears were circular red earrings with black spots.

"Unlike you," Hugo said, "I don't need justification! I'll fix the mistakes of the past and re-write the future! One where I am the supreme ruler and you are but one of my pawns!"
