The Bourgeois Penthouse was located on the top floor of Le Grand Paris hotel, a building that appeared to be made of gold. The Penthouse itself was the largest and most luxurious room in the building, with the property value alone costing more money than most people make in their lifetime. To add to its value were the millions of Euros worth of clothing, furniture, jewelry, art, and gourmet food, available at any time.
Despite the value of these precious accessories, Chole Bourgeois was throwing crystal glasses at the walls in a dress worth more than an average car. She was ranting on about how everything she'd experienced tonight was ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. Cowering behind a couch her most loyal and humble friend Sabrina was desperately trying to avoid the shards of glass flying overhead. She was terrified. She'd seen Chloe get angry before, most of the time at people at school or at her servant when he'd brought the wrong shoes, but she'd never seen her in a rage like this.
"How dare that Lila girl did not invite me to a party at my own house?!" she screamed. "And how dare that pretentious little fencing girl show up?! She wasn't even dressed the right way! She was in some ugly loser dress probably designed by a nobody like that stupid Dupain-Cheng!"
Sabrina peeked her head over the couch, the edge of her glasses just barely visible above the rim. "Well, she was dressed in a formal kimono," she said in a soft voice "which in Japan is very traditional, so maybe she was dressed the right way?"
Sabrina barely managed to dodge the glass that went flying in her direction.
"How dare you take her side?! You should always take my side! You're supposed to be my friend!"
"Of course, Chloe," Sabrina said
Chloe then focused her attention on the TV. "And what are these stupid reports of someone else wearing the Bee Miraculous?! There is only one Queen Bee! And a boy?! Ladybug gave my Miraculous to a boy?! It's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!" She then threw a glass at the TV, breaking it. She then looked down at the ground in shame
"Is there anything I can do for you, Chloe?" Sabrina asked, still hiding.
"Just leave me be. And don't come back or else I'll fire you!"
Sabrina quickly made a run for the elevator, leaving Chloe alone in the Penthouse; now covered in broken glass. She then exited the ruins of her penthouse and went outside to the balcony, cool from the night air.
She hated Ladybug. Ladybug had never trusted her. The only reason she'd become Queen Bee was that she'd found the Miraculous on the day her mother had become Style Queen. But she'd done her best. She'd had a few mishaps, but overall she'd helped people. She'd made them see how great she could be. And yet Ladybug hadn't given her back the Miraculous, and so she turned to the only source of power she could get. Hawk Moth. He'd transformed her into Miracle Queen, and together they'd almost taken all of the Miraculous and gained the ultimate power. But she'd failed. And now Ladybug was probably having the time of her life with all of the other Miraculous holders laughing at her, calling Queen Bee a joke.
She screamed to the city as she threw another glass. "I HATE YOU LADYBUG! I HOPE YOU GET A MILLION BAD HAIR DAYS AND BE FORCED TO WEAR CLOTHES FROM A DUMPSTER!"
"Well then," a voice said. "Thank you for making my job so much easier."
Chloe looked to her right and found, Cat Noir? But he was wearing white instead of black, and his hair and voice were different. He was leaning against the railing with a lollipop in his mouth, his face stuck with a smug expression.
"Who are you, and why are you wearing that atrocious Chat Noir costume?"
The stranger walked towards her, crushing his lollipop in his hand and turning it to ash. "Chat Noir. People are always treating him like he's the cat's meow. Like he can't make any mistakes. But your proof that he and Ladybug can."
Chloe began to get a very wrong feeling about this person. She slowly began to back her way to the door.
"You know what I'm talking about. You were Queen Bee. Ladybug and Chat Noir trusted you. But in the end, they betrayed that trust simply because they felt you were unworthy." He then looked to the side for a moment. "I suppose we have that in common, you and I. I was supposed to be the next Chat Noir. But in the end, I was deemed unworthy. Just like you."
Chloe became very defensive. "How dare you! Queen Bee was not a mistake! I was the greatest superhero this city had ever seen!"
"Oh please, everyone knows you're a spoiled brat who doesn't care about anyone other than herself."
Chloe was nearing the door. Just a little further, if I can make it I can call for help downstairs...
Suddenly, a white ball of energy appeared in the stranger's hand. One flick of his fingers and the white ball soared to the door and collapsed it, leaving no escape.
"Sorry, but I'm not done with you yet." He then approached closer, leaving only a few feet of space between them.
"What do you want with me?" Chloe said. "I'm warning you! If my Daddy finds out that you did anything to me,"
The stranger began to laugh. "What's he going to do? Have me arrested? Sentence me to litter pickup? Please, I have the power to destroy the entire universe. So if you're going to threaten me, please do it once you're able to make good on your threat."
He approached even closer, they were face to face now. "Then, Ladybug and Cat Noir will stop you!" she said, beginning to sound desperate
"Having to count on your enemies to save you? You've got to be kitten me" Chloe tried to enter the collapsed door but failed. She was then pushed back from the door. When the stranger saw her terrified expression, he scoffed. "Pathetic. Every good hero can hold their own against their enemies without relying too much on others."
He was less than an inch away. "You know what's interesting about you Chloe?" he asked. "It's that despite getting a second chance, after having every opportunity to change, you still don't. You're still the same spoiled selfish brat even in the future, where you spend your pathetic and sad life being a trophy wife to some talentless musician who lives off his daddy's money."
He then whispered in her ear. "But I won't be the same as you, brat." Suddenly, his hand went through directly through Chloe's stomach, and she could feel herself slowly disintegrating. She began to hyperventilate and scream as she slowly turned to ash. "Normally I wouldn't give you the time of day. But I need to prove that I'm the strongest Miraculous holder. That I am worthy of a Miraculous. And I can only do that by eliminating the people that my parents couldn't eliminate when the time was right. It's not personal. I hope you know that"
As her body began to crumble before her. She managed to get out one last sentence before she turned to dust. "Who are you?"
The stranger turned to the pile of ash that a minute ago was Chloe Bourgeois. "My name is Chat Blanc. And you were just the first, Ms. Bourgeois. My parents always talked about all the people in their past that caused despair. So many enemies. So many people caused so much misery for Paris. If I stop them now, I can change the future so my parents don't have to fight! Think of all the people I'll save!" He heard sounds coming from inside the suite. Someone must've heard the collapse of the door and come running.
"Well, looks like it's time for Chat Blanc to be going. See you never, Chloe Bourgeois."
