Miraculous: Tales of Ms. Ladybug and Tom Cat

Part 26: Villains united

"It's been taken care of, Hawk Moth," Félix said.

"It's nice to finally meet you both in person," Hugo said. "And with the prize in hand."

"It was almost too easy," Lila said. "When you said I needed to steal their miraculous I thought it would be more of a challenge."

"We're not out of the woods yet." Hugo then stood up from the armchair he'd been sitting in and looked out the window. "There are still more Miraculous out there. Each with different powers. I need them all."

"Why do you need all of them?" Félix asked. "The other Hawk Moth only needed two of them."

"The other Hawk Moth is short-sighted. He doesn't see the big picture. Sure, these two together could form a wish. But the other powers could potentially disrupt or even reverse that wish. And I can't let that happen." He then turned to them. "So yes. I will be needing them all. And there's only one way to do that."

Suddenly, seemingly out of thin air, two Akumas appeared in his hands. "The Miraculous." He said. "Hold them out. Both of you."

The two looked confused for a moment but proceeded to do so. As they did, the two Kwamis appeared.

"No! Don't do it!" Tikki begged. "You don't know what he'll do! He's evil! He's worse than the first one!" the Kwami was then forced into the Miraculous as an Akuma flew into one of the earrings, turning them black with red spots.

"Adrien?!" Plagg said in surprise. "Wait, no! You're his evil cousin! Oh, I gotta get out of here, I gotta," the Kwami was silenced as the second Akuma corrupted the ring, turning it white.

"Now for you two," suddenly two more akumas appeared, each flying into one of them.

"Volpina," he said to Lila. "I'm giving you the power of illusion. You will use this power to guard the Ladybug Miraculous until the time is right."

He then turned his attention to Félix. "Copycat," he said. "I'm giving you the ability to destroy. You will use it to protect the cat miraculous until the time is right."

The two were then covered in a shadowy aura for a moment before emerging as the villains they'd become.

"Now," Hugo said, looking through the window. "There is someone I have to call..."
