Miraculous: Tales of Ms. Ladybug and Tom Cat

Part 48-Trap

Ladybug struggled as she was attempting to break free of the ice. She was completely frozen from the neck down and couldn't move or summon her Lucky Charm. Not only that but every other one of the Miraculous holders had been defeated, leaving her without much to work with. Thankfully, she still had her closest ally and most trusted partner, who was frozen next to her, in fairly similar circumstances.

"Well, this is a frosty reception." Cat Noir said. "Do you have a plan yet Milady?"

"Not just yet Kitty," she said. "This ice is thick and with my hands frozen I can't summon my Lucky Charm. What about your Cataclysm?"

"I used it a while ago to take care of the ice around our house. It's gonna be a little bit before I can use it again." He struggled to pull himself free, "Not to mention my wrists are frozen so I can't move my hands."

Ladybug sighed. "Don't worry chaton, I just need to think of a plan," 

Cat Noir nodded and looked around the sewer walls. There was mold and moss and a very foul smell, but there was something that caught his eye.

"Milady, does this graffiti look familiar to you?"

"Not now Chat, I'm thinking of a plan!" She then looked around, unsure of what to do

"Ugh!," she said frustrated, "I can't find a solution anywhere," she said. She held her head in dismay. "This is almost as bad as that time in Tokyo."

"Really?" Cat Noir said. "I don't think it's that bad yet. After all, buildings aren't falling like dominos there isn't a giant flying turtle."

Ladybug rolled her eyes. "Maybe so, but we're still stuck here and we aren't able to use our powers. It's like this enemy has been preparing for this for a long time and has a plan that covers every possible eventuality."

Her expression was saddened. "He's taken our powers and all of our friends. This is pretty hopeless"

Cat Noir wasn't about to take that "Just in case you're forgetting, we're Ladybug and Chat Noir. No matter what, we always come out on top. Besides, aren't you forgetting what we always say? With Ladybug..."

"Every problem has a solution," she finished. "But I still haven't figured out the solution to our current predicament yet. What could it be?"

"Well, thankfully, I know the answer." a voice said from behind.

Ladybug couldn't turn her head to see who'd just appeared, but based on the white light and the voice, she knew who it was right away.

"Bunyx?" she asked. "What are you doing here?"

"Well I'm the hero of last chance, aren't I?" she said, walking over. As she walked to where Ladybug could make eye contact, she suddenly exclaimed, "Wow, you guys look so old!"
Ladybug couldn't help but notice that Bunyx still looked 25, the same as when she'd first met her when she was 14. She was slightly jealous at her lack of gray hairs and smile-lines "You know it's impolite to comment on a woman's age!"

"Yeah!" Cat Noir chimed in. "My lady doesn't look a day over 20!"

Bunyx rolled her eyes and then surveyed the scene. "In any case, I'm here to save you," Bunyx said. "So let's get you out of that ice shall we?"

"But, how did you know to come here Bunyx?" Ladybug asked. "You haven't shown up since I last gave you the Miraculous, and that was years ago!"

Bunyx just gave a smile. "You can thank those kids of yours for that," she said, attempting to break the ice with her umbrella. "They're really smart kids, using a Miraculous to create a sentimonster to contact me."

Ladybug was confused. "They made a sentimonster? So they used the Peacock Miraculous?"

"You didn't know?" Bunyx said. "They must've used it without permission then. "

"I can't say I approve, but at least they managed to get help." Cat Noir said.

"They might've gotten it to work this time, but it could've turned out a lot worse!" Ladybug's face turned red in anger, "Those two are in a world of trouble"

As Bunyx attempted to break the ice, Ladybug calmed down and thought through their current situation.

"So, we have four supervillains up there attempting to take over Paris and get our Miraculous. But something still confuses me."

"What's that?" Bunyx said

"Why hasn't Hawk Moth come yet?" she asked. "If he really wanted our Miraculous then why didn't he just come and take them the minute we were frozen?"

Cat Noir suddenly had a realization. "Wait, Milady! The graffiti!"

"That's right old man!" a voice called. "It's a trap!"
Bunyx turned to see a villain in a hoodie with blue skin and green goggles. In his hands, he held a gun that was shaped like a spray-paint canister.

"Timetagger," Chat Noir said. "I knew the graffiti around here looked familiar! It's all from his paint gun! He's woven a time trap for us!"

Timetagger began to rap "Clever observation, you mangy cat, but this isn't for you can't you see that? This is a trap, that much is true. But this trap obviously isn't for you!"

He then fired his spray-paint gun at Bunyx, causing a dark green portal to open and suck her in.

"Hope you enjoy the Mesozoic Era, Fluffy Tail," Timetagger said.

"Don't call me Fluffy!" Bunyx cried, leaping out of a portal behind him. He quickly disappeared and traveled through time to a spot ahead of Bunyx, where he began to rap.

"Bunyx you're dumb, you better run! Or else I'll blast you with my gun!"

The fight continued on like this for over half an hour until finally, Bunyx was worn out. She was brought to her knees from exhaustion.

"Now you have no choice, Fluffy Tail." the villain said, holding his gun menacingly. "Now gimme your Miraculous or else I'll send you and the geezers back to the Big Bang!"

Bunyx wouldn't give up. She used the last bit of her power to summon a portal.

"Trying to open a portal? You're wasting your time! Now hand over your Miraculous!"

Bunyx just laughed. "Ladybug is gonna kill me for this, but desperate times right?"

Ladybug was confused "What do you mean..." the realization hit her like a ton of bricks.

"No. You can't do that! Bunyx you can't bring them into this! They're just kids!"
"So were you when you got your Miraculous. We have no choice!"

Timetagger was confused "What are you talking abo..." he was interrupted by a hand fan hitting him in the back, causing him to fall on the ground. He looked behind him to find a boy in a dark blue suit and a girl with blonde hair. He attempted to attack them but was stopped by Bunyx.

"Your fight is with me, Timetagger," Bunyx said. Their fight continued as they continued to bounce from portal to graffiti mark to portal.
