Lila was currently sitting in her room on her laptop. She'd gotten an invite to a hang out at Juleka's down at the docks yesterday, but she didn't want to go. She'd just told them she had a dentist's appointment. Believable enough. The sheep who went to her school could easily be fooled by anything. She was currently watching the footage from last night on repeat. Two Ladybugs? The universe might as well have spit in her face. But twice the Ladybugs would mean twice the satisfaction from her revenge.
She was lamenting over her vengeance when her phone rang.
"Lila Rossi I presume?" Hugo said. "My name is Hugo. But you know me by another name."
"And what name would that be?" Lila said.
"Really? Are there any other people who give you powers to exact your revenge?"
Lila's expression turned to shock. "You're Hawk Moth?" she asked. "Interesting. So, what do you need from me?"
"Now that's interesting," Hugo said. "I don't meet many people who are so willing to join me right away."
"Well, I'm the exception. I'll help you take down Ladybug and Cat Noir. Just akumatize me and I'll do whatever you need."
"Now now darling. I'll need something from you before you can get akumatized."
"Anything Hawk Moth," Lila said. "So long as I can get my revenge."
"All in due time." Hawk Moth said. "First, I'll need you to go to a little function your friends are having right now. How good are you at photography?"
