Miraculous: Tales of Ms. Ladybug and Tom Cat

Part 41- Chat Blanc

As Cat Blanc awoke, the first thing he noticed was the pain in his ribs.

So this is what it feels like to be Cataclysmed huh? He thought. No wonder I taste blood.

He was groggy and in a lot of pain, but he tried to adjust himself so he could see the scene ahead of him. His sister was standing behind Ryuko and Cat Noir, completely awestruck. Ryuko looked over at her. "Are you ok Micromouse?"

"Uh-huh," she said in amazement, her face as red as a ripe tomato. She then looked past Ryuko. "Look Out!" she cried

Ryuko was just barely able to avoid Hawk Moth's cane whizzing past her ear. She then proceeded to charge at him with her sword.

"I'm sorry to have to pounce like this, but I feed my Kwami." Chat Noir said. "I'll be back as soon as I can. Ladybug should be here soon too. Can you hold off until then?"

"We've got it covered, Chat Noir," Micromouse said, drawing her jump rope to attack, "Just get back here right away."

He nodded and went away, leaving the two girls to fight the villains.

"Now," Hawk Moth said. "Where were we?"

As the villains and heroes began to fight, Chat Blanc clenched his ribs as he tried to stand. If the original Hawk Moth was here as well as Mayura, then he could easily kill them and take away his sister's Miraculous. He would be killing two birds with one stone. Literally.

He pulled himself onto his feet, Cataclysm in hand, ready to kill both Mayura and Hawk Moth with one blast.

What did I say?! You can't kill them yet! Hugo said Just be patient. Wait for the other Miraculous holders to show up. When they do, take them out and destroy their Miraculous!

As Hawk Moth's communication aura lit up around Thomas's eyes, Mayura saw him getting up and reacted. She moved away from the battle and formed an Amok from a miniature Eiffel Tower keychain, most likely from a trinket stand that had been destroyed when the tower fell. As her dark feather went into the keychain, she created a sentimonster. "Impersonator. I am Mayura. You have the power to take the form of any Miraculous holder you see and copy their powers. You will use this to take down the new Hawk Moth and Chat Blanc."

A shadowy aura formed in front of Mayura. It molded and formed itself into a human-like shape that took the form of Ryuko. The sentimonster then engaged in battle with the real Ryuko as well as Micromouse. With them distracted, Hawk Moth and Mayura focused their attention on Chat Blanc. The villains threw their weapons and knocked him to his back, causing a giant wave of pain to spread across his entire body

Hawk Moth held his cane to Chat Blanc's chin. "Now Hugo," he said. "You have no choice but to surrender! Give me the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous! Or I'll kill your little pet here!"

Whatever you do, don't kill them! Hugo said. Just get out of there before...

Hawk Moth's sudden hold over Cat Blanc was ended by a very familiar yo-yo hitting him in the face.

"He may be a cat Hawk Moth, but Chat Blanc is no one's pet."

Looking up from his daze, he looked to the right to find Ladybug, standing there with the rest of the Miraculous holders, side by side. Micromouse and Ryuko quickly joined them.

"This is your last chance, Hawk Moth." she said "Give us your Miraculous and surrender!"

Hawk Moth growled and moved into a fighting stance, Mayura and Impersonator to his right and left respectively

"Not a chance, Ladybug! It is you and your who will give me the Miraculous!"

Seeing this scene, heroes and villains, standing ready to attack each other, Cat Blanc laughed. A hearty, dark, and evil laugh that filled the otherwise silent area.

For once, every Miraculous holder at the scene was united by one emotion, confusion. 

Cat Blanc shakily brought himself to stand. "Sorry. It's just funny. All of these super-powered people, and they're divided over me. The most powerful Miraculous holder that ever lived, who could kill all of you without hesitation. With only a fraction of my powers I could end you and the rest of the people in this city. If I used my full power, I could destroy the entire universe, maybe more. And yet you're treating me like someone who needs to be saved. Someone who needs to be protected. Someone that you own!"

He summoned a Cataclysm to his hand. "Well, I don't need to be protected. I can't be defeated or taken. I'm the most powerful Miraculous holder. You're all going to be defeated at my hand, and when you're gone, the world will know it! I can prove to the world that I'm strong enough to  overcome any challenge and create an ideal world!"

Whatever you do, spare Hawk Moth and Mayura Hugo said. They're critical for my existence, and if you destroy them you'll destroy me, and you'll lose your powers.

"That's the thing, Hawk Moth." Cat Blanc said. "I need to spare people as well to ensure my existence, but I see now that sparring any single miraculous holder can't happen. They'll never respect me or my strength. They'll try to end the world I'm going to bring about. So I'm going to destroy them all! And everything they stood for! They'll never respect my powers! So I might as well destroy them all and rule the world as the strongest miraculous holder ever!"

His cataclysm grew until it first encompassed him, then the other holders, then Paris, France, Europe, the whole world, the solar system, and finally the milky way. And with one flick of a finger, everything was gone. All that had ever been or ever will be, was obliterated.
