"Well, here we are." Damocles said as he opened the door. "Apologies for the interruption Ms. Bustier, but we have some new exchange students from Northern France. They'll be joining your class for a little while."

"Thank you Mr. Damocles" Ms. Bustier said with a kind expression. She looked at the siblings "Would you like to introduce yourselves?"

Thomas just barely heard her as he observed this classroom. So many heroes and villains in one place! Along the elevated steps he could see Reflekdoll, Princess Fragrance, Miraculer, Stoneheart, Carapace, Pegasus, Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, and so many others!

Emilie, seeing as her brother was starstruck, took the initiative. "I'm Emilie Dupain and this is my brother Thomas." She elbowed him in the arm.

"Ouch! Uh, yeah! I'm Thomas! Nice to meet you!" he gave an embarrassed smile and a wave

"Ok then. Let's find you some seats. Nino, would you be willing to share your bench with Thomas? At least until Adrien gets here?"

"Sure Ms. Bustier!" said the excited teen. "Come sit next to me dude!" Thomas quickly went over and took his seat, excited that he was sitting next to the Carapace! His uncle Nino! He was so young! He then shook his hand as she sat down in the center of the row.

"Emilie, why don't you sit next to Alya and Marinette? I'm sure they'd be happy to help you."

Why not? she thought. It's not like one slip up and I reveal she's my Mom! And that changes the future! As Emily took her seat, she was shocked. Her mother was almost unrecognizable. When she was growing up, her mother had always worn her hair in a braid that went down her back. Now, her hair was in two buns on either side of her head. Her mother had always been confident and self-assured, but now she seemed like she was just trying to keep her head down and focus on her notebook. Was this really her mother? Did this shy, quiet girl really grow up to be her hero? The hero of Paris? "It's nice to meet you girl!" said the other person sitting at the bench. "I'm Alya and that," she tapped her mother's shoulder, "is Marinette."

Marinette in shock tossed her pen in the air and fought to grab it. She didn't, and instead hit Emilie in the forehead.

"Gah! I'm so sorry! I'm just so clumsy sometimes." Marinette quickly put away her pen and started to focus. Just then, the classroom door opened, and in came a boy that had blonde hair like hers and green eyes like her brother. Based on his features, and the fact that Marinette couldn't stop looking at him, she could only assume that this was her father, Adrien Agreste. "Sorry I'm late Ms. Bustier!" The young man quickly apologized. "My driver and I had some trouble getting through traffic this morning."

"It's alright Adrien" Ms. Bustier said. "Just take your seat. And say hi to our new exchange student."

Adrien quickly hopped in his seat and introduced himself to Thomas. "Hi. I'm Adrien. What's your name?"

Thomas didn't know what to say. He just stared for a minute. His Dad was so young! He didn't have his glasses yet, or the smile lines around his eyes. But the color of his hair and the billboards across Paris gave it away. This was his Dad. "Uh, Hi. I'm Thomas." He shook his hand. He then looked behind him to his sister. He's so young! He mouthed to her. Emily couldn't have agreed more. This boy was so different from his future self, just like how Marinette was so different from herself in the future.

After a history and geography lesson, the class moved outside for lunch. Thomas sat with Adrien and Nino while Emily sat with Marinette and Alya. Thomas was eating a sandwich as he talked with Adrien. He was surprised to find his father was very different from his future self. In the future, he made puns all the time, almost always resulting in an eye roll from either his siblings or a laugh from his Mom. Right now he seemed very down to earth. He wasn't super serious but didn't make as many jokes as he'd known his Dad to do. Nino reminded Thomas more of his future self, as he was still the music loving chill dude that he'd known as he grew up. The three of them talked for a little while before something interesting happened "So anyway Thomas," Nino asked. "Adrien's crazy Dad finally agreed to let him stay the night at my place. We're getting the guys together and having a sleepover. Do you want to join?"

"A sleepover?" Thomas asked. "Uh, sure! Yeah. That would be great! But wait, what about my sister?"

"Don't worry dude! Marinette's also having a sleepover tonight and I'm sure that Emilie would be happy to go."

"I don't think I'd like to go." Emilie said to Marinette. "Are you sure?" Alya asked. I think it would be good to get to know us better."

"I'm sure. Besides I have some things I have to do, you know, moving stuff with Thomas and..."

"Hey Emilie!" Thomas said coming over, "can I talk to you for a second?" She looked over at Marinette and Alya. "Excuse me," she said.

The siblings walked over to a corner of the outdoor area where they could be alone. "What did you manage to screw up this time?" she asked. "Nothing! You're always so negative!" he said. "Listen, Dad and Uncle Nino just invited me to a sleepover, and I think it'll be good for both of us,"

"You dummy!" She responded. "We can't go to a sleepover! We can't risk changing the past! Also, may I remind you that we're not here to play around with young Mom and Dad? We're here to stop Hawk Moth! We can't let him go berserk!"

"I know! I know! But listen. Our Hawk Moth already knows their secret identities. He could send akumas to them at any time! If we're with them then we can protect them!"

"Protect them?!" Emilie said. "They're Ladybug and Cat Noir! They're literally the best heroes Paris has ever seen!"

"And they've never faced our Hawk Moth before! Ours is more powerful! So we have to be there to protect them if necessary! And honestly, it's better to do this than sneaking around and spying on them."

Emilie still shook her head. "It's still risky you know."

"I know. But for right now it's the best plan."

"I hate it when you're right."

"Hey, look on the bright side. Now you actually have to be nice to people!"

She elbowed him and the two siblings then went to their respective sleepover groups.
