The two Cat Noir's quickly jumped over the walls of the Agreste mansion and into an open window into Adrien's room. The two boys quickly transformed back into their normal forms.

"So, this is where you live?" Thomas said in appreciation. "It's great here!"

"Boy, I'll say," Plagg said. "Now," he grabbed Thomas's chest. "Let me have some Camembert! Please! It's been too long!"

Thomas then looked at the other Plagg. "Is it ok if my Plagg has some of your cheese Plagg?"

"Well, normally I'm against sharing, but I guess it's not really sharing if he's me from the future. So why not." He then flew over to the other Plagg. "Here! I'll show you where I've hidden the good stuff!"

As the Kwamis flew away, Adrien sat on his bed "Make yourself at home," Adrien said. "Just be sure not to make too much noise or my father or Natalie will come in."

Thomas looked around in awe. He knew his Dad had come from money, but he didn't know he was this rich! He had a climbing wall, a full-size piano, a foosball table, a TV, a couch, a three-monitor computer system, and every book, movie, and video game you could ever want. His Dad would never let him have anything like this in his room!

"Man, this has to be the coolest room I've ever been in!"

"Yeah, it's nice I guess," Adrien said sadly

"What's the matter?" Thomas said

"Nothing," Adrien said. "It's just that everyone always says that. "Your room is the coolest!" "You're so lucky!" But they don't see this room like I do. It may have a lot of cool stuff, but it's really just a fancy birdcage."

"Birdcage?" Thomas said.

"Yeah. My Father never lets me out unless it's for either school or a photoshoot. And I barely ever see him! It's just so frustrating sometimes. My Dad buys me all the fanciest things money can buy because he can't give me what I really want. And that's some friends."

Thomas then looked at the desk with the computer. On the desk was a picture of Adrien with a beautiful blonde woman and a tall, stiff-looking man in a white suit.

"Are these your..." Thomas said, handing Adrien the picture.

"Yeah. Those are my parents." Thomas took a closer look at the photo. He'd seen pictures of his grandmother before; his Dad had always kept them next to the other family photos. But he'd never once seen a picture of his grandfather. His Dad had always refused to talk about anything involving him. What little he knew about his grandfather he'd gotten from his Mom. Apparently, he was a fashion designer, and a wealthy one too. He was very protective of his son and never let him do anything by himself. He was also very strict and very controlling of his Dad and always put his own wants and desires ahead of his son's. In the picture, Thomas could see that he was the only one not smiling.

"Your Mom is beautiful," Thomas said. "She reminds me a bit of my sister."

"Thanks," Adrien said "It's kinda funny that they share the same name and look so much alike"

Thomas gulped. "Uh, yeah! What a coincidence right?"

As Thomas settled into sleep on Adrien's couch, he felt a little more appreciative of his Dad. Sure Thomas didn't have a climbing wall or a TV, but he was allowed to leave anytime he wanted, and at home, he always felt like there was someone who cared. His parents had made sure of that. He looked over at the sleeping body of the young man who would become his father. Thank you Dad he thought. Thank you for helping me feel loved.
