Even the drone's camera caught it, starting from the flash. A bang followed by a roaring sound so loud it is capable of rupturing eardrums. The drone also caught on camera what looked like the impact of a projectile. It landed to the left flank of the Reunion formation, as if it missed the white coats.

The thought of the unknown projectile having missed its mark, the Reunion squads, is quickly scrapped away when the entirety of Crownslayer's forces at the highway lost their balance and fell to the ground.

The men in blast suits nearest to the impact also fell, but most did remain standing and only left them disoriented on what happened.

All the events that just unfolded provided an opening, and the riders pierced through the formation.

Crownslayer jumps out of the way of one of the riders.

Most of her soldiers aren't so lucky and the riders ran over them.

As soon as they reached Crownslayer's forces, the riders started their hit and run. They didn't give any attention to those with heavy armor and picked their targets from the light infantry within their ranks.

Chaos quickly replaced order on her squad. Her own crossbowmen opened fire at the riders passing through, but none manages to hit anyone.

"They're going for another pass, block their escape!" Crownslayer shouts to her soldiers.

Her soldiers took their positions to attack. Crossbows aimed at their dark ninja-like attackers. The melee fighters stood close to their snipers, staying by the sidewalks and the center aisle, ready to strike at the moment the riders pass them again.

Back at Rhodes Island, all of the staff present at the bridge aren't moving as if they have been frozen, their focus all directed on the events unfolding on the Higashinese city's northern district.

(Y/N) was the same as everyone else minutes earlier.

Ch'en and Amiya just arrived together, catching (Y/N)'s attention.

"Amiya." Kal'tsit calls the young cautus.

"A messenger from the city came to us." Amiya tells them as if she knew what Kal'tsit's tone when calling her meant. She does. "They won't throw any hostile responses to us, if we stay here."

"What? That sounded very prideful... are they." Says (Y/N).

All three glances at him. He's very eager to go, but he is being denied the opportunity.

Kal'tsit looks back at Amiya. "Continue, Amiya. When are we allowed to intervene?"

"Until they allow it."

"That is understood. Once we've been given permission, I will be appointing you and madam Ch'en as the dispatchers and commanding officers of the teams that will be sent."

"Hasn't it always been that way since Chernobog? With the addition of Ch'en?" (Y/N) thought as he stood there.

Amiya secretly looks at him, who clenched his fist albeit very quick and he loosens it.

"Madam Ch'en, once it happens, with the permission granted, you are allowed to operate within the city, the Higashinese city. Not Chernobog."

"As if. I know where I should be." Ch'en maintains eye contact with Kal'tsit as she spoke.

"Kal'tsit...." (Y/N) calls.

The feline doctor gives him a quick look before going back to Ch'en and Amiya.

"You two can leave now. Or perhaps you would like to watch?"

"We'll go."

With it, Ch'en and Amiya left the bridge as fast as they had arrived.
