"What?" asked Blaze.
Talulah didn't move, waiting for the feline's decision with a smile on her face. Her smile, or more like a grin of temptation.
Blaze never really knew this woman until now that they've met and thrown blows at each other, yet somehow, aside from the fact that it's an incredibly nonsensical twist to just give up after making the two of them fight through a hellish environment...
"That would be disappointing." Flamebringer said, rising up. "In the end, you will make a weakling of yourself."
Blaze frowns at him. "What are you saying? Just shut up!"
"After showing us your power even without a weapon, it would be a great waste if you will die not having shown all of it."
Blaze walks up to him. "I don't even know how a brain like yours would work, but are you really just here to make everything complicated?"
"Am I...?" the sarkaz shot back defiantly.
Blaze breathes in. She turns around, putting her glare back to Talulah.
"Arguing could lead the both of you to your demise." The draco warned. "Were it not for me being generous enough as to provide you with the opportunities, I would have long ended you."
She looked at Blaze as she spoke the last part, the latter's gaze was trying to dig deep into her eyes.
"Even if this shithead with me had a shit head, I understand his point." Blaze said. "Have you gone out of your mind? This change was so sudden."
"A change of heart, you could say." Talulah answered, wondering about her own answer. "Say... this entire floor is lost. The fires have spread everywhere, if you don't make up your mind, we'll all still die."
"Hold on a second though..." Blaze called her attention as the draco was trying to talk them to something else. "I just feel that something is so off here."
"You are bleeding out."
"I don't care."
The draco raised her eyebrows.
"Talulah, why give up?" Blaze asked. "Were all plans foiled?"
A solemn look appears on Talulah's face. "Your tenacity brought everything to ruin. Though you can never silence the infected. They will rebel, they will revolt, so long as they exist in this world. I may be gone, but I alone do not lead all infected."
"Your voice sounded too dramatic just now..." Blaze observed.
"I am merely speaking the truth of determination."
"Clearly you've lost it."
Talulah chuckles, "But others would carry on. The world will always be filled with struggles. Their struggles, the continued resistance against the odds that are fueled by their desires to overcome, have you ever thought about it? How mesmerizing it is."
"You don't call that mesmerizing." Blaze raised her voice.
"Commendable?"
The feline had a pause before her answer, "That fits more."
"I'm no longer needed." Flamebringer says as he turns away.
"Tell your men to surrender." Blaze ordered Talulah.
"They have every right not to."
"Prove it that you are giving up!"
"The proof has always been in front of you." The draco smiled again, "You are free to get revenge."
