Texas crawls down, the two defenders, and everyone else, held fixed gazes on her.

She doesn't go back to crouching, and just hurries down the stairs, heading to the two highest ranking members of their squad.

"I'd like to think they've broken into Nansei's core." Texas hints, not looking at them. "It's a mess outside."

The surprised voices of their squadmates added up to (Y/N)'s already upset mood. "We messed up?"

"Anyone out there?" Ch'en asks the lupo.

The latter shakes her head. "Burnt cars, cars flipped upside down, shattered lamps and windows though, there are plenty."

Ch'en takes a step back with a sigh, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"So we're still inside some warzone?" Franka asks. "That's fine, actually... guess it can't be helped. But then we really need some rest."

"It's still dark outside, I don't think there are too many patrols out." Texas tells them.

(Y/N) faces the operators. "Firewatch prepare your drone."

The elafia sniper nods and backs off, making space as she sets her equipment down.

"I don't think we'll need something with a blinking light out there." Vanilla murmurs as she sat close to Firewatch.

"It's better than sending someone out there, we don't know where we are." Meteorite whispers.

After a short while, Firewatch crouches down while taking the stairs up until the first landing. She sets the drone down.

She turns her head, waiting for further orders. "Doctor."

(Y/N) looks at his head assistant. "Should we look for a hospital or a house? Or hotel?"

"Whatever's closest will do." she answers. "Launch it."

The drone's small engine buzzed with power, while four propellers spun until the blades are near invisible, sending the UAV up and out of the subway.

(Y/N) puts his hands on his waist, though they slide down to his legs.

Pain surges in his thigh as he slapped it.

"YO!"— he grasps the part of his leg with one hand, the other hand covering his mouth. He limps closer to where his operators are resting and throws himself down with a grunt.

Gavial crosses from the other side of the stairs and to him. "How bad?"

(Y/N) inhales while straightening his legs, keeping his hand on his thigh.

"Maybe a big bruise... yeah, this definitely feels like a"— he pulls himself up, fixing his posture and leaning back. "... bruise!.."

Gavial takes her bag of medicine off her and sets it down on the ground, digging into her supplies inside it.

She takes out a roll of bandages.

"How much of those do you still have?"

"No need to worry about that, Doc. I just need to resupply from anywhere here." Gavial reassures (Y/N).

"Hey, look for a hospital as much as possible." she orders Firewatch and with a tug of two hands, pulls the Doctor's jeans, though nothing happened. "Take your pants off."

"What?"

Gavial pulls down again, but it's a tight fit. "Come on! Help me out here!"

In a hurry, (Y/N) undoes the button of his jeans and zips down, and Gavial immediately pulls away, and his feet gets stuck inside.
