Morifolium carefully places the bandage, then securing it. "There, you're good now."

He stands up, turning around, though Blaze kept sitting at the floor.

"I think, now that you have to be out of direct combat - as per the Doctor's orders, you should act as the last line of defense, more than her." he points at Mostima, who's switching her attention back and forth between various parts of their defense line.

Blaze sighs as she stood up. "That can't be helped now, can it?"

The man pulls out his katana. "Yeah, I don't think your Doctor's orders are to be disobeyed."

"You bet!"

"Huh?"

Morifolium turns his head, only to see Blaze sprinting up the stairs.

-"Where are you goi"-

Gavial runs to him, and to the base of the stairs. "Shit..."

"You stay here, watch over them!" she points around as she ordered the liberi. She runs up the stairs afterwards.

Rhodes Island's twin-rotor aircraft hovers over the helipad of the high castle.

The ramp lowers steadily to the ground, with Kal'tsit and Zero inside, ready to step out.

A group of samurai marches forward, greeting them with a bow as they walked out.

Zero nods his head in return.

"Kal'tsit-sama, we are honored by your presence." the warrior at the front of them all, one in dark red armor greets them.

Kal'tsit dismisses them, "Thank you, gentlemen, should we be meeting his majesty now?"

The stoic warrior straightens up. "Yes. Please come with us."

As the rotors of the aircraft stopped spinning, the group already headed inside the palace.

"How is the repositioning of your troops?" Kal'tsit asks, breaking the silence that envelops the halls they walked in.

"Good. Reunion, they are decreasing in the intensity of their attacks."

"Are they...?"

The samurai nods with a hum. "That is not to say we could easily break through them."

"But the stronger samurais are at the core of Nansei."

"Well, yes, but we aren't to proceed to the east."

Kal'tsit glances at Zero, but the latter was already looking back in secret.

"We are here." the samurai informs them, sliding a wooden door aside.

—— Last evening ——

Kal'tsit stops at one of the many identical heavy metal doors lining up the landship's hallway, and presses on the intercom.

A respondent immediately answers her. "Closure he- oh, wait."

"Yeah, it's me."

The doors whooshed to the sides, and Kal'tsit steps into a dark room.

She stared at the bright screens on Closure's table. A lot of them.

The vampire's silhouette is blocking some of the light, and for sure she is facing them at the moment by the looks of it.

"Have you found anything?"
