Liskarm's voice slips out of her with the labored breathing she does, sitting at the middle of the stairs, side leaning to the wall, where the tremendous powers being used within their proximity vibrated.
Her eyes are closed, but as she hears multiple footsteps, she opens her eyes.
"Watch out!"- shouted Onyx who was one step below her. The redhead vouivre rose up with her shield, catching a bolt with a thunk.
Liskarm blinked at the sound of it. She pushes herself further back to the riser of the next step.
"You're holding up there?"
She quietly nodded at the other vouivre's question. Her head turns, her eyes went to look for the rest of the team.
The stairs are still crowded with the bunch of them, with Matterhorn at the base, Morifolium, Cyclone, and Silesia stood close behind in a diamond formation.
Closer to her and Onyx, the snipers have all long stopped firing their weapons.
She frowns, but is too exhausted to even hold it up. And also, it is only Exusiai she's seeing.
Sierra is next to that angel, seated, and fiddling over three pistol magazines.
"S-... Miss Sierra..." Liskarm called.
The sankta looked back, she looks troubled enough. "Yeah? You're back?"
Liskarm digs into her pockets, pulling two fully loaded magazines. She raises her arm towards the sniper, "I hope you're using the same caliber."
"What?..." Sierra asks with widened eyes.
"I still have some in me... but I don't think I'll be able to use it efficiently."
The sniper crouches and reaches her hand, accepting the ammunition. "You have a point, thanks."
Liskarm leans back, Onyx's eyes aren't leaving her.
Meteorite and the other snipers arrived, carrying with them one or two quivers of bolts, and crossbows with blood stains, some dried up, some are relatively fresh.
They make their way down and to the men guarding the base.
"Out of the way!" Meteorite ordered.
Cyclone turns around, moving his arm to block them.
His and Meteorite's glowering eyes crossed, and the latter's were more infuriated.
She waited for a second, but the perro is taking longer to utter a reason. She grabs his arm, pushing it down. Cyclone shrugs her off, and Meteorite charges ahead, ramming through him and almost to Silesia too.
"HEY!!-" the kuranta yelled to no avail.
Satell's gaze showed no signs of aggression towards Cyclone, but his is never changing. With his glare alone, he holds back the liberi.
"Give it to me." Suffering spoke.
Satell looks back, but her fingers have already loosened their grip on the weapon she holds, passing it onto the artilleryman.
"I think you have done enough." Suffering tells her, her tone sounded less comforting than it should have.
Cyclone takes his glare towards her.
Suffering strides past him without even a single look back at the perro.
His eyes followed as the woman started running after passing by Matterhorn.
Meanwhile, Morifolium was looking at Cyclone from the lower steps.
"You can't." said the vanguard merc.
