For two hours, the D.S.G. traversed the length of the tunnel that, according to the compass, was leading more into the west, where they should go.

A long, pitch black tunnel. Only the powerful flashlights they kept close tp them at all times during operations now bring light for them to see.

Along the way, the singular track they were following leads to a point where the track splits into three.

(Y/N) scratches his head. "Very nice..."

"Compass." Ch'en orders.

Liskarm takes out hers. "It's... It should be the middle."

"Something wrong?" Franka asks with a light fog coming out of her mouth, a thing that happens to anyone of them who talks while inside the tunnel.

"West points somewhere in between the left and middle tracks." the vouivre explains while also moving the compass closer to Franka.

"Huh..." she huffs. "Then..."

She looks up at (Y/N) and Ch'en, who are both standing closest to the three prongs.

"N-no, actually we should take"—

"West, south." Ch'en interrupts Liskarm, though she looks back at her.

"I was about to say that. Since there's a very small percentage we will end up back somewhere in the north." the latter said.

"How exaggerated, but understandable." (Y/N) shrugs his shoulders. "There's no way this southwest line would take us to the north, I think it'll be a bitch move of whoever designed these tunnels."

"Alright, keep moving." Ch'en walks past him and proceeds into the left tunnel.

The rest followed, keeping themselves along the sides of the rails.

"Ch'en, I think Blaze should go ahead, not you." (Y/N) advises.

"What?" his aforementioned assistant looks over her shoulder.

"You know, if a train, just in case, she can— you know...."

"That's a brilliant idea, Doctor." Blaze approved. "I think I could hold off such a thing."

"By what? Exploding it?" Gavial retorts.

"No?"

"Oh? Could you really stop it with your bare hands???"

"We wouldn't know unless we try, but I'm confident." Blaze puts her hands at the back her head, stretching her body as she walked.

"You could try it anytime, but damn you will not do it when we're around." Franka warns her, even points a finger at the feline.

"Nah, you will all be fine~"

Franka's lips form a thin line and smiles, "No, I don't think we will."

"If she ever does it though, at least she could warm up the surroundings." (Y/N) said.

Blaze gasps as she looked at him. "Yeah I forgot! Hold on, I should do that..."

"The air here is so chilling, I can really feel it go up my skirt." Franka sighed, sliding a hand down her skirt in a useless effort to make it stick to her legs. "Meteorite, you're... not that far from me, don't you feel cold?"

"I'm alright." the sarkaz answers. "It is cold, but I'm used to it, I thought you'd be the same."

"This wind is perverted though, and it's really down here at the floor, before going up."

As the women talked, (Y/N) walks faster, catching Ch'en's attention.

"Hey, you don't have a light of your own, don't go too far." she said.
