Morifolium had his arms crossed, casually watching Ch'en and (Y/N)'s still ongoing argument. "How long do they intend to do this...?"

"Probably until we get a go." Sierra shrugs.

"Maybe they've been through a situation very similar to what we have now, and are preventing something." Onyx suggests.

"Huh..." Sierra raises her chin, not really putting too much thought to what the vouivre said.

"Please stop talking about it like I will die, it will help." Ch'en calmly begs (Y/N), as he had been what most of them would have thought of as overreacting for a while now.

At least, he got rid of his rising voice, and is trying to limit his emotions.

"But you most certainly would, and I don't want that!" the Doctor retorts in a lowered voice. "Why are you so stubborn?!"

Everyone else is probably having an opinion about this entire fuss happening before them. Most of them wouldn't say a word about it.

"Why can't you be more like Franka here? There's nothing wrong with"—

— "I'm the only one who can bring her down."

Some frowned upon hearing it.

Yes, it's true that the person they were arguing about is someone far superior than any one of them, so how come Ch'en would be able to pull it off?

What special quality does she have?

"Hey..."

The two faced Blaze as she called, and she is frowning.

"... I feel like you're looking down on us now, lady."

(Y/N) gasps. "... Blaze."

His arms slowly lifted his open palms to calm her down.

"... Don't worry, Doc, I'm still sane." the feline assures him, but glares back at the lung. "But anyone wouldn't feel good about being looked down on like they can't do shit."

"But she's got a point." Franka comments.

"I see no point in her being able to one-on-one that Talulah. What is it, your blood? You're relatives so you're on par with her?"

While Blaze is talking, (Y/N) had his head low, thinking of a faster way to deal with his head assistant's stubbornness.

He lifts his head, and his eyes rounded as Gavial positions herself behind Ch'en's back, holding her cane like a bat.

"What is it that guarantees your victory, Ch'en?" Blaze throws yet another question.

"I never guaranteed a victory."

"But we all want this to end!" Blaze raised her voice. "We're not playing around here."

"Neither am I." Ch'en replied.

"What makes you think it'll work?!" (Y/N) panicked in his mind, his widened eyes his only way of communicating with Gavial, but she isn't looking at his direction.

"... and that's why I keep telling you, maybe it's not in our blood, but I know her. I know how she works. I never had the chance to save her way back then, but now that I can, there's just no way"—

"You're so inclined on pulling off this prince charming gag— I just couldn't believe it!" Blaze flails her arm to her side after having her hand on her forehead.

"You're not even listening to what I said!"

"Captain..."

Ch'en turns her head, her frown turning into shock as Gavial's cane swung down.
