4/23/20

4-23-20 Hello everybody I am back. I am fronting again because I am on the phone with my best friend right now. I love hearing his voice sooooooo much. I hope you guys liked Kas being out this week. I know he tried to do everything up to my standards and I appreciate that.

Today has been an interesting day so far since I have been out. I procrastinated by watching The Great Gatsby and painting. Now I am eating and trying to also type and talk to my best friend. I can not think of anything to write so I will tell you about The Great Gatsby.

Every character sucked. Daisy was a gold digger, Tom was a cheater, Gatsby was too forceful with Daisy, and Nick just never stood up when he was supposed to. Gatsby should have let Daisy go at her own pace. He made it obvious that she was the love of his life but he still did not treat her right. Tom cheated on her with Myrtle but also lied to Myrtle about Daisy so he was just a complete scumbag.

Nick just got in the middle of everything. It really was not his fault but he could have also done something to stop some of the crazy stuff from happening. He probably should not have tried to get Daisy and Gatsby together before he even knew if she wanted to be with him. She also should not have spent so much time with Gatsby if she was gonna stay with Tom.

Also we can not forget the fact that she ghosted Gatsby right after she killed someone while driving his car. She did not even bother going to his funeral, sending flowers, or even calling Nick. She lied and had her butler tell Nick that she and Tom were already long gone. I want to like her but she did a lot of bad things.

I do however like Gatsby and Nick. Although Gatsby messed up at the end he really did love Daisy. He was a nice person, he just did not always do the right thing. Same with Nick. He was there for Gatsby through everything even when nobody else was but he also went along with everything and called everyone bad people even though he did nothing to stop them.

The whole book and movie was a shit show. Especially the newer movie. The old one was slower and calmer. You could understand everything and it wasn't all jumbled up. The new movie was too much of a mix between 1920s and 2020. The music and dancing was not how it should have been. Everything was loud, fast, and jumbled up. There was a lot of drinking and sex which was not fun to watch.

I mean overall it was a decent movie but I thought it could be a lot better. I did not like how you didnt get to see Gatsby's dad. I was looking forward to it. A lot of pieces were missing and it was disappointing but the pieces that were there were pretty good. Overall I am glad I watched the movies and read the book.

I have spent the last hour or so trying to eat but I suck at eating. I eat out of a lunch box for kindergarteners and I eat slower than one. I have to eat though and I know that. I just struggle to eat sometimes. I am working on it though.

I am really dissociated and feeling sick. I don't know why that keeps happening. I am sorry but I will have to cut this short. I will try my best to make up for it tomorrow. I am gonna spend all night thinking of things to write about. I will see you tomorrow.
