After his tournament, Ashwin came back home and Ashima was entering home the same time as well.

Ashwin: just coming back?

Ashima: yes

Ashwin: what's for dinner?

Ashima: I didn't make anything, and I'm not hungry as well, thought you'll be late, coming back home after dinner, nee edhume solitu pola

Ashwin: because you wanted to get back to your sleep, not wanting to have a conversation

Ashima: do you think it was a good conversation? Would have only got bad and spoil your mood for the day

Ashwin: hmmm, abby, calm down, we're fine, are you ok now?

Ashima: what do you think?

Ashwin: a little better, I guess? Velila poitu vandhurka, must have had some time out

Ashima: really, abby? That's what you think of?

Ashwin: edhum thappa sollalaye, whenever you don't feel good, you'll go out for some time, and you'll feel better

Ashima: seri ok ya, I'm fine

Ashwin: one day dhana abby, ennachi unaku?

Ashima: nothing abby, let's not blow it up

Ashwin: and you're going to keep it to yourself? How is that helpful?

Ashima: ennamo, pesura maari illa, what do you want for dinner?

Ashwin: edhum vena, naa edhadhu order panikiren

Ashima: saves my time

Ashwin: over a panra abby

Ashima walked off while Ashwin was talking. He was getting mad thinking what's up with her, she wasn't ready to talk and was showing face. He didn't expect it to be a big issue, he thought it'll be fine in the evening when he's back home. But clearly something wasn't right.

He ordered food for himself and went to room, trying to pacify Ashima.

Ashwin: abby, can we talk?

Ashima: ippo dhana pesunom

Ashwin: enga urupadiya pesunom, samandhame illama we were hinting at each other, what's wrong abby? Let's talk it out

Ashima: illa vena, it won't end up well, let's forget it

Ashwin: what's the point of brushing it off? It will come up another day along with another issue, appo rendayum connect panni, innum perusa irukum perchanai

Ashima: think for yourself abby, think what could have happened

Ashwin: therila abby, adhunaladhan I'm asking you. Let me know and we can talk

Ashima: it's ok abby, you must be super tired now, have your dinner and get to sleep, you've got work tomorrow

Ashwin: I said, let's talk? Why are you trying to run away from it? Pesuna we can solve it

Ashima: I told you to ask yourself, just sit and think

Ashwin: and what if I can't find out why?

Ashima: then it means I'm overthinking, we'll just forget that

Ashwin: but nee ipdilam irukura aal ae illa, you're very moody towards me, I can't accept this, if we let go of the issue and if you still choose to be moody, what's the point?

Ashima: I'll be fine tomorrow, nee thoongura maari therila, naa poi thoonguren

Ashima did not show any interest to continue the conversation, sleep was her escapism. Ashwin was just sitting on bed, looking at her, thinking what's wrong. He was exhausted, but couldn't sleep thinking about it, Ashima wouldn't simply throw words or be harsh, it made him ponder more. He only went to bed around 1am.

Ashima woke up from sleep in the middle of night and went to kitchen to get some water for herself. She realized Ashwin didn't take his dinner. She felt bad, asking herself if she was behaving very means towards him. She sat down on the couch and started reflecting her own thoughts, what's happening and why she's not ready to solve their misunderstanding. After some time, she gained clarity to her thoughts. She went on preparing breakfast and lunch, packed it for Ashwin and kept it on their dining table.
