I Want To Sleep Until I Feel Better

The sun has risen. Ashima told to herself 'Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise, it's going to be a good day'. She got up and got herself ready to meet her uncle. Ashima's mum ( Ashwin's Aunt) called Ashima to have her breakfast.

Kalaiyarasi : Ashimaaaa
Ashima : yes maa, coming!
Kalaiyarasi : Come and have your bfast. Going out?
Ashima : no ma, I don't feel like eating. I'll manage. Umm yea.
Kalaiyarasi : Ashima, come and eat. You can go out later on.
Ashima : Maaaa, pleaseee..
Kalaiyarasi : Okay.. make sure you get something for yourself.
Ashima : Sure ma. (Ashima couldn't think about anything bcos all her thoughts are on what her Uncle is gonna talk about)

-Ashwin woke up and messaged Ashima but Ashima didn't reply his messages even though if she's seen it-

Ashima went to the place where her uncle called to meet up. Her uncle was there before Ashima reached. She went on to her uncle.

Ashima : Morning Mama.
Shekar (Ashwin's Dad) : (smiles) Morning ma.
Ashima : so what's up mama? Anything important? (though her nerveousness was very obvious, she tried controlling it)
Shekar : Ma, I want to talk to you about an important issue. I don't where this will lead but I really have no choice ma.
Ashima : Mama? Why are u so worried? Calm down.
Shekar : Okay ma, listen. Don't ask me how/from whom I got to know bout it but I know that Ashwin & you are in love or maybe falling in love, I'm not sure. I've lots of dreams about my son's future ma. I'm afraid that if he gets into a relationship with you, he might lose focus in his future and then his future would get spoilt. This might seem like an invalid or childish reason but ma, that's what reality is. Not just that, your standards are different compared to ours. Compared to what your dad has, we all are nothing. I don't think your dad would accept my son as well, he's not settled yet, he's just studying and only after that he has to start working on about his future. Also, to be very honest, I don't like the idea of marriage between relatives, I hope you get what I mean. I don't mean to disappoint you or some sort of it ma but it's my son's life and I don't want this to lead into worst things. You guys are still young and I get it that it's those where you guys would tend to fall in love but please it's better if you both start looking after your own life rather than thinking about love, relationship and stuffs. I ...
Ashima : Mama.
Shekar : No ma, I'm just...

-Ashima was breaking down inside, she wasn't able to let out how she's feeling right now but her heart was breaking into pieces. She tried controlling her tears, anger and all those mixed emotions that she had but nothing helped her. She ended up tearing-

Ashima : It's okay mama, I get it. Also mama, we are not in a relationship yet but yes we were about too but I guess God has the right timing for all of it. I also get it that your son's life is important to you, relax mama. I can assure you that you'll not be worried about him, anymore.

That was all Ashima could tell and before her uncle could speak she told him she has to go and she left the place. Ashwin's dad felt a little relieved but wasn't sure on how true is Ashima's words. Though, he takes care and loves Ashima so much, when it comes to his son's life, he wasn't able to trust her words completely.

Ashima went to her car and cried out loudly. All she was able to do was cry and cry and cryyyyyy. She didn't expect this coming from her uncle, she wasn't ready for this. She wasn't ready to face her uncle, aunt anymore. She was so worried and blamed herself for all that has been happening.

-Thoughts on Ashima's mind-

Ashima : (why Ashima why? Why did you let things to come up to this far? Do you really need this? Do you want to enjoy and lead others be in a sad state? Do you want to make a son and dad to be far apart due to your love towards his son? Which one is more prior? Your love or the father-son relationship? What are you going to gain by making people having a hatred feel towards you? Who's that? Your favourite uncle. Why is he dull and sad? Because of you, no one else! Think Ashima think! Make up your mind.)

-Ashima drove back to her hostel instead of going back home since she was so heartbroken-
