After discussion with Ashwin, Ashima informed her mum and Kalaiyarasi then told the rest of them. They were happy that Ashwin and Ashima decided to use the weekend. 

It's weekend finally, a much needed one for Ashwin and Ashima, they are finally off for a short getaway, just the two of them. 

Like always, when they got into the car, Ashwin had Ashima's hands on his lap.

Ashwin: after a long time

Ashima: illaye, you do this always, even with Vesh and Nesh around

Ashwin: that's not what I meant

Ashima: what is it then?

Ashwin: unaku theriyadhu, apdi dhana?

Ashima: theriyum but I want to hear it from you

Ashwin: why so?

Ashima: because sometimes it's nice to see you being the lover boy

Ashwin: appo ivlo naal illaya?

Ashima: ermm irundha dhan but more of a father instead, now that I've got you all alone, I shall use it wisely

Ashwin: ahaan, someone's really in the mood I see

Ashima: apdilam illaye..

Ashwin then side hugged her and continued to drive. Once they reached their home stay, they rested a while and then went for a short walk in the evening. The home stay was by the beach. 

As they were walking hand in hand, they witnessed a proposal, and they recollected their memories of their proposal.

Ashima: do you still remember what you did?

Ashwin: therilaye, nee venumna sollu abby, let me recall it

Ashima: nee mattum ippo illa nu sonna, en kita nalla vaangi katuva

Ashwin: aiyayo seri seri, of course I remember

Ashima: tell me, how did you think of it? like what made you for such a planning

Ashwin: simple..love

Ashima: really, just that?

Ashwin: that's all needed abby. I was madly in love with you, I still am, you know it well too

Ashima: I do but adhukunu how can one think of such proposal?

Ashwin: I knew I wanted to propose you at the airport and make you surprised but with the cafe and book, adhelam just came along as I talked with Sandhya and Kayal. As much as I know you, they would know certain things that I wouldn't

Ashima: I see, so you got it from them about me romanticizing a fantasy?

Ashwin: 100% a solla mudiyadhu but somewhat. I wanted to make you feel like the world was only revolving around us and so we came up with such plans. Andha book la write panadhu lam was a quick one of course, treasure hunt lam was an idea that we came up together

Ashima: it's the best, I swear, whenever I think of it, I still think can someone love a person this much

Ashwin: hey kandipa irupanga. Each to their own of course abby. Our love is great for us and likewise for the rest, it's theirs

They spent the until late night just by the beach, having dinner by the beach and under the moon, talking about their life; their past, present and the future.
