Forty-Seven

A/N: So obviously things aren't exactly happening as they normally would in the MCU, since Civil War is not happening in this story. That's why I had to introduce Ant-Man another way earlier on, and now someone else a whole other way... Hope you enjoy!!! Let me know what you think in the comments!!

"So, you remember that Spider-something or other that we heard reports about?" Tony said as we tracked towards his crowded workbench in the middle of the lab.

My interest peaked immediately, I had been trying to get more information on this new Spiderman that had entered the scene in New York. "Of course I do." Silently hoping Tony had worked some of his magic to find him.

"I got some footage from one of his latest conquests, its very eye opening." Tony flashes a cheeky grin and plays a video on the screen. "This is Queens Community Bank, last night. I honestly didn't know we were having a gathering there. I would've loved for you to join us."

I chuckle as I watch the screen, understanding Tony's words. There were four robbers in the bank, each one donning an Avengers mask: Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and Thor. I had to chuckle at the sight. "Damn, not one of you thinks to invite the ladies?"

"It was just a guy's night out. What can I say?" Tony retorts. Then Spider-Man comes into view, it was really a sight to see, he was taking them down with such ease. Until one of the robbers pulls out a gun, one that looks an awful lot like something not from this world. The man is suspended in the air and thrown around by an invisible force. Eventually another weapon is brought out that does more catastrophic damage before the video ends.

"Where are those guns from?"

Tony sighed, as if he knew that would be my first question. "I knew you'd say that. Did some digging... Looks like FBI has been investigating a band of misfits that steal Chitauri tech and sell it on the black market. Their close to a breakthrough."

"Hmm. Ok. So, we can finally rest assured that he's based in New York, and by his activity I'll say he's from Queens." I say as I bring my hand to my chin, hard in thought.

"Right. I got that." Tony said nodding as he observed me with a raised eyebrow.

"Time to put my agent skills to the test." I smirked looking at him before heading to my bench to collect some supplies.

"Oh no! You will do no such thing! Do you want Barnes and Cap to kill me? They think you're retired! If they knew I let you train and stuff I think they'll kill me first before they kill you!" He tried to block my path to the workbench, pushing me back and looking at me sternly.

"You know they wouldn't. Besides... I'll be extra careful." I wink as I pass him and make my way to my workbench. Looking through my mess I grabbed my tablet, knowing full well I would need it for intel. I also grabbed the new project I had been working on, my cloaking bracelets, which allowed me to use my powers and fly, but without lighting up the night sky.

Tony stood next to me, uneasy at my stubbornness. "Just recon ok? Call me if you find anything. Don't do anything stupid."

"Got it dad. Anything else?" I sigh and shake my head. Sometimes I swear he thinks he's actually older than me.

He grabs my shoulder and turns me to see his stern look. "You're going to have to call your husband. Better come up with some good ass excuse. I'm not doing that shit."

"No problem Tony, I got it. I'll talk to you later ok?" I lean in and give him a quick peck in the cheek as I grab my bag from my room and head out of the lab quick before he changes his mind.
