"I hope we will be able to meet again, Seiren," Mitsuki stated with a warm smile, causing a smile to form on my face as well. We found ourselves standing outside their residence, having just completed Katsuki's work at his parents' house. Now, he eagerly proposed that we embark on a mission together, with Hades accompanying us.
"I would be delighted to meet you again, Mitsuki," I responded, aiming to show respect. Her corrected me, insisting that I address her by her first name, to which I nodded appreciatively. "Of course, Mitsuki," I agreed. Glancing over at Katsuki engaged in conversation with his father, I couldn't help but acknowledge how handsome he appeared without his typical scowl.
"Isn't my son quite handsome?" Mitsuki inquired, breaking my train of thought.
"Yes," I unintentionally blurted out, immediately placing a hand over my mouth in surprise. Flustered, I rapidly shook my head and attempted to correct myself. "No... I mean, yes... Well, no!" I stumbled through my words, feeling my cheeks grow hot. Mitsuki found amusement in my reaction.
"Don't worry, I'm just teasing you. But I must say, someone like you dating Katsuki would please me," she commented with a warm smile, causing my face to flush even more.
"I..." I began to respond, but Katsuki's boisterous voice interrupted our conversation. "Hey, dumbass! Let's go already!" he shouted impatiently, causing me to glance in his direction and nod. With Hades eagerly wagging his tail, Katsuki gripped his leash and summoned us to his side.
"I'll see you soon, Mitsuki," I directed my attention back to the woman standing beside me.
"Likewise, Seiren," she replied kindly. Nodding in acknowledgement, I approached Katsuki and joined him by his car. Hades joyfully barked upon spotting me, ever seeking attention.
"I know, I know, Hades," I spoke affectionately, petting his back. Masaru interjected, pointing out how comfortable Hades appeared around me despite being a stranger. Katsuki scoffed but refrained from commenting.
"I have my ways of winning over animals, Mr. Bakugo," I assured, aware that Katsuki would not say anything complimentary about me. "Let's get going," Katsuki declared, setting off towards the car with Hades following closely behind.
"Take care, Seiren. I wish you both success on your mission," Masaru bid us farewell, to which I offered a warm smile.
"We will. Goodbye," I responded, waving to both Masaru and Mitsuki before settling into Katsuki's car. Naturally, my wings posed a challenge when it came to entering vehicles, yet I managed to navigate it successfully.
"Your damn feathers are ruining my precious baby!" Katsuki complained as he started the car's engine. I couldn't help but chuckle at his remark.
"I apologize, Bakugo's baby!" I playfully replied in a high-pitched voice, which elicited laughter from the both of us. He began to drive, emitting a low growl as he warned, "Shut the fuck up or I'll kick you out of my car."
"Oh, come on, angry Pomeranian," I teased.
"You're asking for trouble, you annoying bird!" he shot back.
"Is that my new official nickname?" I questioned with mock excitement.
"Yeah, you should feel honored that I haven't resorted to 'damn extra' like I do with everyone else," he retorted with a smirk.
"Well, aren't you considerate, Katsuki Bakugo?" I responded in a saccharine voice, feigning appreciation.
"Who knows? How do you even know my full name? I don't recall ever telling you," he inquired, displaying a level of intelligence I had not anticipated, given our frequent arguments.
I contemplated which lie I should conjure this time to make him believe me, curious about the outcome.
