Forty-Two

Aries woke up with her head pounding. A groan leaving her lips as she flipped her body onto her side.

She felt skin, slide along hers, making her eyes barely open. The first thing she saw was a head of brown disheveled hair and a gorgeous face.

His eyes were closed, his lashes fluttering every few seconds. Aries looked around in confusion, the dorm definitely was hers. Though she didn't understand why Remus was in bed with her.

As she peaked under the duvet, she realized she wasn't naked, per se, but pants less with a t-shirt and uncomfortable undergarments.

Remembering she usually slept with bottoms, Aries was sure nothing happened. Also due to the display of her sleeping partners clothes still in tact.

Remus was wearing the same as she remembered, though his shirt wasn't tucked in anymore.

Aries watched his chest flow up and down with his breathing. She watched the color difference in his hair from the shadows and the light bouncing off of it.

Remus must've helped her into the dorm and then accidentally fallen asleep. She thought it was a sweet thing to do.

But she knew the rules and had to get him back to his dorm before the girls woke up.

So, she did what any person with common sense would do and sadly woke the sleeping boy.

"Hey, Rem." Aries spoke softly, gently replacing a piece of his hair out of her view of his face.

Remus only muffled a sleepy groan and rolled closer to her, wrapping an arm around Aries waist. Her body stilled at the feeling of anything in contact with her back, a memory from a long time ago breaking loose. She pushed it away, relaxing slowly at the warm feeling of his hand against the most sensitive part of her body.

"No, Rem, come on." Aries giggled softly to not wake up the other girls.

"It's too early, Wormtail." Remus spoke gruffly, he pressed his head closer into the pillow, biting his lip. "This is another good dream." His arm tightened slightly on her waist.

Aries laughed internally, seeing as he obviously didn't know he wasn't in his own dorm. His words told her that he is definitely not a morning person and that Peter usually wakes him up. Though she was interested to know what Remus was dreaming about, she held back.

"Rem, it's Meredith, you have to wake up." She spoke gently, Remus rolled again, this time onto his back. His eyes starting to blink open and his body shivering slightly from being on top of the covers.

He stared up at the ceiling for a moment tiredly, furrowing his brows and then looking around for a moment, clearly confused.

Then his eyes landed on Aries and they widened slightly, "you're in my dorm." He spoke gruffly, "and in my bed" he added.

Aries looked around, a small smile on her face when she looked back at him. She then pointed to her green bed sheets, "you're in my dorm" She spoke swiftly, "and in my bed. If you haven't noticed." She shrugged.

Remus gulped, feeling slightly nervous about there current position. From all he could tell, she looked naked under the blanket and he did not know what to say or do in case they did do something last night together.

"I uh...did...erm...are you-...you know...did that make sense?" Remus asked, stuttering as his face reddened.

Oh Merlin this is not good, not good, stupid hormones...

"Rem, for one I'm not naked. And two we didn't do the deed." She told him. She could see his relief as he sat up.

"What happened?" Remus asked, "I don't remember much after getting off the couch to dance." He admitted.
