Aries quickly placed her bag with valuable belongings in a box to give to Honey. Purposefully placing it outside her window, hidden in beside the enchanted ladder in the vines.
She wrote a couple letters, one for Regulus and one for Orion, goodbye letters really.
Aries took out her wand and placed it in her medical bag, along with her healer creams and ointments from Madam Pomfrey.
By the time she was finished packing her mini backpack and changed into a comfortable thin shirt and jeans, she carefully opened her door.
Peeking through it, she used one hand to open the door further while the other was placing her wand in her back pocket.
Aries crept slowly down the corridor, keeping her silenced shoes on so she didn't make a sound.
She arrived at Regulus's bedroom door and slid the letter under the door knowing he would be downstairs with her parents.
Aries then walked over to her parents bedroom, opening the door and tossing the envelope into the room carelessly, then closed the door quietly.
She knew that her father would be the first to see the letter and hide it from mother.
After countless moments, Aries eventually made it down the stairs, not a sound to be heard other than the clinking of forks on dishes from dinner being eaten.
"You should know by now, Regulus, you are going to learn to serve the dark lord." Aries listened to her father speak to Regulus through the door.
"I know father...but would it be so terrible if I wanted to-"
"Enough! I have heard enough of your excuses! Your life has been decided for you! I would be more grateful if I were you!" Orion yelled.
"You must find a girl of worthy blood to marry soon, Regulus. You cannot go and try to be with a girl twice your age!" Walburga scolded.
"Yes mother, I'll try harder. I'll do better." Aries heard Regulus speak, "and I'll be prepared when the dark lord asks me to join as a death eater." A piece of Aries broke when she heard those words come out of her own brothers mouth.
A feeling of not only betrayal, but of heartbreak for her own flesh and blood. Aries couldn't stop herself as she walked into the room.
Almost immediately Regulus stopped eating and his eyes widened. Though Walburga and Orion didn't stop.
"You're thirteen." Aries spoke quietly at first. "Regulus is thirteen." She spoke ever so louder. "He's thirteen!" Aries yelled. "Are you two absolutely insane! Joining the dark lord so soon!" She yelled.
Orion stopped and looked at his daughter, giving her a 'stop and sit before you get hurt' look. Aries ignored him.
"How many times have I told you to stop wearing those rags! And to not slouch and to brush your hair before you come down! Look presentable you disgraceful girl." Walburga spat.
"I am many things mother, but at least I'm not an abusive parent that doesn't know how to take care of children-" before Aries could continue any further, her mother had taken the liberty to stand and slap her.
A red hand mark now visible on her face, Regulus winced at the action, though Orion only began to eat again.
"Learn to think before you speak, how do you plan on marrying a man if you act like an ungrateful, ugly, carefree, child." Walburga hissed, anger laced in every word along with a dare to make her angrier.
"I only act like an ungrateful, ugly, carefree, child, because I learned from you." Aries dared Walburga to step further, and Walburga was happy to take it.
"Orion, Regulus, take your meals to the kitchen. Aries must learn a very valuable lessen tonight." Walburga seethed, a glare deeper than hell itself was set on Walburgas face.
Orion was the first to stand, gathering his plate and utensil, and walking out of the room.
Regulus was hesitant. He knew she only got into this fight was to protect him. And he also knew that leaving the room made him a coward. Even though, Regulus gathered his plate and utensil like his father and left hanging his head low as to not catch any side glance from his sister.
Barely after Regulus left, Walburga grabbed Aries by the roots of her hair and yanked her towards the table. Walburga pulled out her wand and threw Aries towards the table in which she fell into and pushed back.
The four legs of the table screeched as they shifted. "Crucio!" Walburga shot the spell at Aries, letting her daughter struggle and fall down to the ground in sheer pain.
Needles, needles and hammers everywhere. The sound of nails on a chalk board echoing in Aries head. Feeling like all her bones were being broken and disconnected, and then glued back together and shoved back into place.
The only sounds escaping Aries lips were screams of pain, choked sobs from thrashing and gaining bruises.
Aries couldn't hear the next spell that her mother cast as she felt herself losing the ground and gaining air. Her body flew up into the air and hit the ceiling, Aries head bruising from hitting so hard. And just like that, the table broken from Aries dropped body.
The pain was unbearable. So excruciating that she could barely keep her eyes open. The sweat dripping down her forehead mixed with the new scent of blood. She felt a new substance drip from her abdomin, the cold feeling of her life getting shorter as the seconds ticked by.
Her head felt heavy, her sight was blurred. She felt like the breath was completely knocked out of her lungs as she tried to breathe.
Aries felt the cold silver knife in her side as she reached down to touch substance. Bringing her finger up to her sight, she saw the red blood.
She didn't scream, didn't gasp, didn't cry, just laid there, feeling more broken and dead than she ever felt in her entire life. Aries didn't even see the look of entertainment on her mother's face before the wretched woman left.
This is the end
Aries thought as she breathed slowly in and out, making sure not to move. Suddenly a popping sound brought Aries out of her sweaty trance. A gasp left the little elf as she quickly went to Aries.
"Miss Black! Oh my dear!" Ellie sobbed as she looked over the injuries and coming across the knife. "We need to get you help." Ellie squeaked, she didn't wait for Aries to confirm that statement as she placed a hand on her and snapped her thin bony fingers.

"No eating yet! Go wash up, you two were just out playing Quidditch!" Mrs. Potter snapped, slapping James and Sirius' hands away from the cooked dinner.
"But we're hungry!" James whined.
"The faster the sooner, now go." Mrs. Potter shook her head at her son.
The two boys huffed, but tried to sneak a dinner roll before they left, "No! Out!" Mrs Potter scolded and pushed them out of the kitchen.
The boys laughed as they ran up the stairs, happy that they managed to sneak two rolls up before dinner.
No more than ten minutes did they come down, starving and excited for food. Though when they made it down the stairs, a knock came from the front door.
Sirius and James glanced at each other before Mr. Potter yelled, "James get the door!" from the kitchen.
Sirius snickered, "better you than me, mate" he walked off to the kitchen while James went to get the door.
"Save me some fo- Meredith?" James asked, the open door now beside him as he watched a now passed out Aries be laid down by a house elf, along with a luggage and a backpack.
Ellie looked up, then vanished
