This was officially the last week of summer vacation. A week of brief grief for the twins and a month and a half of glorious relaxation and fun allowed Aries to tune out and enjoy herself. She even figured out what career route she wanted to take for the upcoming future.
As Dumbledore had already been training her in so many ways with her Yeshew magic and being included in the small circle of the Order of the Phoenix, it made her decision all the easier.
Besides work decisions and fun hobbies, Aries had done a lot with James and Sirius, getting closer to them than she ever had.
During the summer, Mr. and Mrs. Potter finished the addition, welcoming Aries into her brand new room and allowing Sirius to reclaim his "man cave".
Of course living in a house with crazed testosterone made Aries rather grateful her bedroom was now available. She used up the last couple weeks furnishing the furniture and decor that the Potters and her brother had surprised her with.
At first, Aries had been rather surprised by the large size of her bedroom. Open and spacious, big enough to fit a king sized bed and still be able to have room for a clothing mannequin and all of her supplies, which took up a lot of room.
With cream and white colored walls, Aries had quickly added to each of the four with decor. Pictures, mirrors, art, and a rather big bookshelf.
Her bed was across the room from her door with a desk to the right of it, both sharing the length of an emerald green rug.
Once Aries had finally managed to fit every last book in her bookshelf, it didn't take long for her brother and James to sneak in and visit her new bedroom. The occasional sarcastic comments on Aries organization flew out the window with the girl having access to their actual thoughts.
Though apart from her brand new space, Aries found that she spent most of her alone time on the roof outside of her window. She had recognized right away that it was something she would do often at 12 Grimmauld Place, but pushed it aside, remembering that she was more comfortable in her environment now more than ever.
With one week left of summer, Aries couldn't stop thinking about her special someone. It had been nearly three months since she had seen him, touched his soft hair, kissed him.
Well, of course the hormones racing through her did nothing to help with the fact that Remus Lupin was terrible at communicating by letter.
She had already sent countless letters to her Lupin boy, though each time her owl returned with no response, her letters began to get more and more vague and rather short.
There was only one letter he had returned which was the first they had exchanged at the beginning of summer break. Of course, because of this, Aries couldn't help but reread it to find any detail that might help her understand.
Though, over analyzing anything comes with a price.
Being so deep in thought, Aries didn't even notice Sirius coming up behind her.
"Godric, I can feel your thoughts from my bedroom, Mere." Aries quickly turned her head, feeling her body jerk at the sudden voice. Her foot slipped, causing her body to slide and drop through her open window.
The girl fell onto her rug with a rather loud bang followed closely with a yelp and a laugh. Sirius looked down through her window, seeing his twin sprawled on her floor and laughed some more at her flustered state.
James quickly walked in her door in concern, only to morph into confusion seeing the scene before him, "Mere I don't think that's how you're supposed to use the window."
