Aries breathed the cold air of the night sky. He enchanted boots carried her silently through the halls of Hogwarts.

Today had been a lot more than she had anticipated. Coming to Hogwarts with a completely new and different perspective. It was like seeing beauty for the first time.

After getting off the train with a sobered up Honey and Marlene, Lily and Alice had met them on the carriage to the school.

Getting through the sorting ceremony and dinner was rather strange, especially being seated with the Slytherin. Aries knew some of them had known about her summer, leaving her parents and their passing, which enabled a wave of gossip to spread among Slytherin.

Aries wouldn't be surprised if the whole school knew before breakfast the next morning, but she didn't mind. It wasn't like it mattered per se.

The majority of the school was rather scared of her anyway? What's the worst that could happen?

Aries allowed her feet to travel further up the steps, knowing a quick route to the front gates of the school. Before she could get too close however, she stopped herself.

A sense of Deja vu flooded her system as she turned around and folded her arms, "You can come out now."

There was a moment of silence before she could see a stretch of cloth which began to reveal four boys.

"How is that possible. We were so quiet." Peter questioned.

Aries tilted her head in question, "better yet, why are you following me? Off to prank my house again?"

James grinned, "you know us so well, Black. But no, unfortunately we haven't been able to actually get in."

"The infamous Marauders can't get into a simple common room? I'm appalled." Aries raised a brow, a smirk lifting her lips.

Sirius scoffed, "Simple my arse. They changed the code again this year."

"All the houses change codes every year, Pads." Remus shook his head in response.

James nodded in agreement, "Which is why we need to know what the code is."

"I see your predicament. I couldn't agree more." Aries nodded as well.

Peter grinned, "Are you going to tell us?"

"No." Aries didn't get to see their expressions drop before she turned her back and continued toward the front entrance.

The boys quickly followed, a frown on her brothers face, "Well why bloody not?"

"Knowing all of you, I'll get pranked as well" James opened his mouth to speak, to which Aries cut him off, "even if it's an accident."

"But their Slytherins! They have it coming." Peter folded his arms together, feeling the chill of the cold night air.

Aries tutted, "It's like you forgot I'm a Slytherin too." Her words caused the boy to blush, he had indeed forgotten.

She pulled out her wand to open the door, only to find it quickly snatched from her hand. Aries turned to the thief in blatant annoyance now. With it being the first night of the year, she wanted to see Hagrid and find how that Hipogriff has grown.

Aries went to grab her wand back from her brother, only for him to toss it to James. Instead of giving in, Aries went to reach towards James who tossed it to Peter who quickly tossed it to Remus as if it were fire.

The girl slowly walked up to her boyfriend with a calculated gaze. He placed her wand behind his back, lifted a brow and his lip, showing Aries he was simply teasing.
