"Aries? What are you doing here?" Aries heart was beating faster than her eyes could track down the voice of her twin. It was dark, terrifyingly so. Looking in front of the muggle parlor, Sirius seemed to have just gotten done with his appointment. A white gauze was peeking out of his opened button shirt.
From the terrified look on Aries face, he couldn't help but feel a difference in his emotions, "Aries what's going on, you're not safe out here." He asked her, but Aries shook her head.
"Sirius, the spy, I know who it is-"
"Me too." Aries heart stopped at his words, how did he know?
"You know? Why are you so calm if you know?" Aries asked in frustration, this wasn't right.
Sirius frowned, "Of course I'm not calm, Aries, what happened. Did he hurt you?" He asked incredulously.
Aries brows furrowed, "Did he- No he didn't hurt me! I haven't even seen him since the last meeting."
"Wait what? Are we talking about the same person?" Sirius asked.
"I thought we were, it's Peter-"
"It's Remus-"
Aries jaw dropped at what her twin was insinuating, but Sirius didn't look any better, "Peter is the spy, Sirius! His mother isn't sick, she wrote me back today explaining that Peter had a new friend. Tom. Peter has been sharing secrets with Voldemort all this time!" Aries spoke quickly.
"I thought-" Sirius couldn't help but feel a rush of fear spike through him, "Oh Godric, Aries. I thought it was Remus..." Sirius went pale, causing Aries to do the same.
"Sirius, what did you do." Aries asked pointedly, when he didn't respond she repeated herself, "Sirius!"
He ran a hand through his hair, everything in his body suddenly twisting and made him sick, "It made sense at the time! Voldemort would know they made me their secret keeper! They wouldn't have suspected him. Aries, Peter is their secret keeper now." He grabbed her shoulders in fear.
"We switched when I visited them last. I didn't think to tell you because...I really did think it was Remus." Sirius took a step back, frustration and fear driving him, "I don't know if they've even moved or not."
Aries was still, how could this happen. This wasn't supposed to happen. None of this was supposed to happen
"We need to find them." Aries shook her head out of it, doing her best to calm down. She had to remember she had to calm down for both of them. He could feel her fear.
Sirius shook his head, "What about Remus and Estella, do they even know you're here?"
That didn't matter, they were safe, they were with the Weasley's, "We can send a patronus when we get there. You need to take me to where you last met with them. They might still be there."
"How do you know it'll be tonight." Sirius asked.
Deep down Aries knew he was just being cautious, but it didn't sting any less, "Sirius, why would they wait? It was only a matter of time before Peter tells Voldemort everything. You know me. I wouldn't put our brothers life in danger."
Hearing her call James a brother was all he needed to hear. As far as Sirius was concerned, they were all family. Nodding his head, he took Aries arm and moved towards a corner alley before apparating off the spot.
