"I didn't realize you and Dumbledore had been talking." Remus stated, leaning against the doorframe.
Aries had her face in her hands, her mind running a million times a minute, "Will you please sit down?" She asked quietly, sighing to herself.
There was a moment of silence before Aries heard the chair scraping against the floorboards beside her. She looked up to see him seated facing her, his expression was hard to read.
"What's going on?" He repeated his original question, "but more importantly why didn't you tell me."
Aries sighed, "It wasn't exactly on purpose, Remus. You were leaving with Estella and Sirius and I didn't want to ruin your time with this." She pointed to the letter Alice had sent her.
"I worry for them." She admitted, pulling at her sleeves just as she did only minutes before with Dumbledore.
Remus sighed once he finished the letter and looked back to Aries, "You could have told me, Aries. You can always talk to me. Why did you go to Dumbledore?"
"Because I suspected something, I asked Dumbledore to get his opinion on the matter, but he already checked it out..."
"But you still suspect something." Remus finished for her. Aries nodded, a frown etched on her face, "Does it have anything to do with what Dumbledore is asking of you?"
Aries shook her head at that, "No that was...so much is going on in this war, Remus, so much and I don't even see how Dumbledore will get around it. Voldemort took me somewhere to hide something of his and Dumbledore wants me to go back and get it."
Remus frowned, "I thought you were done with missions." Aries shrugged, keeping her gaze on her jumper sleeves, "Aries, I thought you were done." This time his voice edged, his curt tone bringing Aries to frustration.
"Remus, I'm the only one who knows where it is-"
Her words were cut short when Remus suddenly stood from his chair, running a hand through his hair. It was clear Remus was upset, but it didn't make things any better when Aries heard his response, "No."
Aries frowned, "No?"
"No, you're not going." Remus shook his head, refusing to look at her with his jaw clenched.
"Remus-"
"No."
Aries bit her lip, trying her best to take a deep breath and stay calm, "It won't take-"
"Don't give me that." Remus cut her off again, "You said that last time, Aries, and don't tell me this time will be different." Aries shut her mouth after that, allowing him to pace in silent frustration.
Sirius peeked his head into the dining room, frowning, "Is everything alright?" His eyes glanced to Aries when she had finally looked to Remus.
Remus didn't respond, continuing to pace, "Everything is fine, Sirius."
Sirius couldn't help but step into the room, frowning at his friends behavior, "It doesn't look fine, what's going on."
"Sirius-"
"We need a minute to talk, is that alright with you?" Remus bit out.
Sirius straightened out his shoulders making Aries begin to feel a bit worried, "Sirius, tout va bien, assurez-vous qu'Estella va bien."
At the sound of the foreign language coming from Aries lips, Remus scoffed, only making Sirius more confused and annoyed, "Quel est son problème?"
Before Aries could respond, Remus fought back, "Sirius, just leave, this isn't your problem to deal with."
