The things I did

Stay

     You wake up later in the day alone in Sarah and Holland's bed. You lay on your back staring at the ceiling, processing everything that has happened within the past 24 hours. You sigh and force yourself out of bed.

     You walk over to your room and walk in to an empty bed. You walk over to your night stand to check your phone. You see that Becky has texted you.

                                    MESSAGES

     Becks: Look what came in the mail!

                   Attached is a picture of the invitations to Lizzie and Robbie's wedding.

     Becks: And we both get a plus one! I'm so bringing Matt.

     You: Yippie.

     You drag yourself out of your room and make your way downstairs to join Sarah and Holland.

     "Hi honey" Holland says as she watches you come down the stairs from the living room.

     All you can do is give Holland a fake smile. You don't have the energy to talk. You make your way over to the kitchen to grab something to eat.

     You grab a bowl from the cabinet and place it down on the counter. You walk over to the pantry and grab your Lucky Charms. You pour the Lucky Charms into the bowl and then grab milk from the fridge. You pour the milk into the bowl, grab a spoon, and join Holland on the couch.

     You plop down on the couch next to Holland and begin to eat your cereal.

     "Where is Sarah?" You ask as you haven't seen her yet.

     "You just enjoy your cereal, don't worry about her" Holland says as she turns the tv on.

     Although you are suspicious as to what Holland means, you trust Holland and don't think too much into it. As Holland scrolls through the channels, Sarah is currently discussing you and Lizzie.

     "So now what" Sarah says as she takes a sip of her coffee.

     "I don't know. This has gotten so messy" Ashley says into her hands.

     "As far as I know, the wedding is still on and Robbie is to not find out about what happened" Mary-Kate says as she plays with the rings on her fingers.

    "I wonder what would happen if Robbie did find out" Ashley says with an evil look on her face.

     "Ashley, do not even joke about that" Mary-Kate says, being stern with Ashley.

     "Has Lizzie said anything about it since you guys left?" Sarah asks.

     Ashley let's out a sigh, "She is all over the place. She wants to call (Y/N) and talk to her about it, but at the same time, she doesn't want to speak to (Y/N) right now."

"What about (Y/N)?" Mary-Kate asks Sarah.

     "When I left the house (Y/N) was still sleeping. She fell asleep with Holland and I. I know she is going to be upset about it and she's going to beat herself up over it. When she woke Holland and I up, she was already mad at herself" Sarah says as she plays with her coffee cup.

     "There is no way Lizzie isn't into (Y/N). I mean, come on, the smile Lizzie had when she was with (Y/N), she's never looked at Robbie that way" Ashley says to Mary-Kate.

     "I agree with you Ashley, but we aren't Lizzie and we don't know what she's feeling" Mary-Kate says as she loosens the cap on her water bottle.
