I Get to Kiss Her

"Justin, go start the boat now" Sarah says demandingly as she exits the room.

"The boat? What are we going to do with the boat?" Justin asks as he follows Sarah out of your room.

"If we can't get to them by land, we'll get to them by sea. Now hurry up" Sarah says demandingly.

"Let me help you up" Holland says as she grabs ahold of your hands to pull you out of bed.

Once up, Holland swings her arm around your back supporting your weight. The two of you slowly limb out of your room to join Sarah.

"There's no way you're coming with us when your ankle is still swollen" Sarah says to you.

Holland interjects, "Sarah, I can only imagine what (Y/N) is feeling right now. If either of us were in this situation, we would do anything to get to the other. Let her come."

"Fine. But you're staying on the boat at all times."

You nod your head in agreement with Sarah as Holland helps you out to the backyard to board the boat. As you, Justin, and Holland get the boat ready, Sarah is rounding up Becky, Matt, Bernie, and Winnie.

"Get up right now. There's an emergency" Sarah says as she barges into Becky and Matt's room.

Becky slowly awakens from her sleep-like state, "What time is it?"

"9:30 PM. Seriously, get up. Lizzie and her sisters may be in danger" Sarah says as she pulls the covers off the couple.

Matt springs up in bed, "What happened?!"

"There was a shooting at Fantasy Island and (Y/N) can't get ahold of Lizzie or her sisters. The bridge is closed so we have to go by boat" Sarah explains.

Becky and Matt immediately spring out of bed after hearing what happened. They quickly slip on some shoes and run downstairs to join you on the boat. As Becky and Matt make their way to the boat, Sarah gets Winnie and Bernie.

"Winnie, Bernie outside. Now" Sarah says harshly as she points towards the boat.

Winnie and Bernie quickly make their way outside to the boat as Sarah grabs their leashes from the key rack. Once the house is emptied out, Sarah locks up and runs to the boat.

"Alright, let's go" Sarah says as she climbs on to the boat.

Justin nods his head in agreement as he pulls the boat away from the dock and begins the ride down the lagoon. Matt helps Sarah with Bernie and Winnie as Becky comes to check on you.

"Are you okay?" Becky asks as she takes a seat next to you.

"Only freaking out at the thought that my girlfriend and her sisters may be dead but other than that, I'm doing just fine" you say sarcastically.

"You still haven't heard from them?" Becky asks.

You shake your head, "Nope."

As everyone heads to LBI via boat, Lizzie and her sisters are hiding in a restaurant just 6 blocks away from Fantasy Island.

"I can't believe this is happening" Ashley whispers to her sisters as they hide under their table.

"Ashley will shut up!" Mary-Kaye angrily whispers to her sister.

Lizzie tries to check her phone, but of course finds it dead.

"Shoot" Lizzie mumbles to herself. "Please tell me one of your phones is charged. Mine is dead, I need to call (Y/N)."

Mary-Kate quickly pulls her phone out to see she has a missed call from you.

"Shit. She tried calling me" Mary-Kate says as she hands Lizzie her phone.

Lizzie quickly dials your number, praying you pick up.

"Come on (Y/N), pick up. Pick up, please. Pick up" Lizzie mumbles to herself as she anxiously listens to the phone ring.

"MK, please tell me you all are safe" Lizzie hears you say into the phone.

Lizzie's eyes instantly begin to tear at the sound of your voice, "Baby, it's me. It's me. We're in a restaurant hiding. We're okay."

You let out a sigh of relief knowing they are okay, "Thank god. We were all worried. We are on our way to get you guys."

"How are you going to get here? The bridge is closed" Lizzie whispers into the phone.

"We're coming by boat, all of us. I literally mean all of us. Even Bernie and Winnie."

A slight giggle escapes from Lizzie, "I can't believe you're making me smile and laugh right now."

You smile, "Isn't that my job?"

"I guess so. Please hurry, I'm so scared."

Your heart shatters at Lizzie's response. "We'll be there as soon as we can. Hold on to Mary-Kate's phone. I'll send you updates."

Lizzie tries her hardest to hold back her tears, "I will."

Lizzie ends the phone call as she wipes the tears that begin to fall from her eyes. The twins pull her into a hug, trying to calm her down.

"It's okay, Lizzie. We are safe. Nothing is going to happen to us" Mary-Kate says as she tries to comfort her sister.

Lizzie nods her head as she sniffles, "They're on their way by boat. (Y/N) says she'll send me updates as they get closer."

"Oh thank god. I'm literally going to make out with (Y/N) the moment I see her" Ashley says.

Mary-Kate gives her sister a 'What the fuck' stare as Lizzie stares Ashley down. "Do that and I'll actually murder you" Lizzie says to her sister.

"Okay okay! Just a joke!" Ashley defensively says.

As the girls fight over who gets to kiss you, you approach the island by boat.

"We're approaching LBI now! Better give Lizzie an update and find out where she is" Justin says to you.

You nod your head as you pull your phone out and text Lizzie, who still has Mary-Kates phone.

MESSAGES

You: We are approaching the island now. Where exactly are you?

Mary-Kate: Oh thank god. We are at a place called Buckalew's.

You: Okay, I'll keep you updated. Sarah, Becky, and Matt are going to come to you guys with the dogs so just stay put.

Mary-Kate: Okay we will. Just so you know, I'm the only one kissing you when I see you again.

You: ? I would hope so.

"Okay, they're almost here. (Y/N) says Sarah, Becky, and Matt are going to come to us" Lizzie explains to her sisters as they anxiously await your arrival.

"I hope it's soon, I really need to pee" Ashley says.

Both Mary-Kate and Lizzie shakes their heads at Ashley.

"What? Do you know how uncomfortable it is to have to pee while hiding from a mass shooter?"

"Ashley please stop talking" Lizzie says.
