My Work Here is Done

Two days have gone by since your most recent dressing change. Justin and Becky are supposed to leave tomorrow, but Sarah is currently trying to convince them to stay. You still haven't heard from Lizzie since the hospital.

"I don't see why you guys are going home now when you will have to come back in literally 2 weeks" Sarah says as she watches Becky and Justin pack up their belongings.

"We were only supposed to stay for a week, not 2 weeks! I can't miss 4 weeks of work" Becky says as she folds up her shirts.

"Becky and I are both scheduled to work over the next 2 weeks before we fly back out here. We don't have enough sick days and personal days to use on those two weeks" Justin says as he zips up his suit case.

"You both know I have connections with that hospital. I can easily get you off that schedule like I did for (Y/N)" Sarah says as she crosses her arms and leans up against the door frame.

Justin let's out a sigh, "I don't have enough clothes for another two weeks. Plus, my outfit for the wedding is back in NJ."

A smile grows on Sarah's face, "That's fine. I can take you both shopping. We can get you two some new clothes and wedding outfits."

Becky begins to place her folded clothes into her bag, "As nice as that sounds, I would like to go home and see Matt. I do miss him and he is supposed to come with me to the wedding."

"So I'll fly him out. No matter what you throw at me, I'll find a solution" Sarah says to the two.

"Sarah, I love you with all my heart. But, I think (Y/N) needs some Sarah time alone" Justin says as he sits on the bed.

Sarah shakes her head, "What? (Y/N) and I have been spending plenty of time together. I've spent more time with (Y/N) than I have with Holland."

"It's true, but I'm not complaining" Holland says as she walks into the guest bedroom with Winnie in her arms.

Holland places Winnie down as she walks into the guest bedroom, allowing Bernie and Winnie to play with each other.

Becky and Justin turn to look at each other before responding, "God, you are the worst Sarah. Before we make a decision, go talk to (Y/N) about this."

Sarah claps her hands in excitement as she leaves the guest bedroom to go up to your room. She knows you will say yes and will require very little convincing to have Becky and Justin stay until the wedding. Sarah reaches your room and knocks on your door, waiting for you to answer.

"Come in!" You shout from your bed as you hear someone knocking at your door.

Sarah opens your door and runs in to sit with you on your bed. You pause your show as Sarah joins you on your bed, you can tell she is eager to speak with you.

"So, how would you feel if Justin and Becky stayed for a few more weeks?" Sarah asks with pure excitement.

A smile grows on your face, "Sarah, come on. You don't even have to ask me that. Of course I would love for them to stay."

Sarah quickly springs off your bed and runs back downstairs. You giggle to yourself as you watch Sarah rush out of your room. You return to watching your tv show once you are left alone again.

Sarah makes her way back into the guest bedroom, "(Y/N) says she would love for you two to stay."

Becky shakes her head as she sighs, "I knew she would say that."

Becky turns to look down at Bernie who is playing with Winnie, "Well, I'm sure Bernie wouldn't mind staying a few more weeks. She gets more time with Winnie."
