The things I did

Tram Car

     "Do you know of any good places around here?" Lizzie asks as she stands close to you.

     "Yes actually. Before Sarah bought her shore house, we would stay at this hotel called The Adventurer. It's at the other end of the boardwalk though. We can catch the Tram Car and it'll take us down there."

     Lizzie smiles at you as she looks up at you, "okay great. Where can we find this Tram Car?"

     "Well first we need to make our way back to the boardwalk and hope that one is passing us."

     Just as you finish answering Lizzie, you hear the Tram Car approaching saying 'Watch the Tram Car Please'.

     With that, you grab Lizzie's hand and drag her back to the boardwalk to catch the Tram Car.

     As you reach the boardwalk, you flag the Tram Car down, causing them to stop where you are standing. You pull out $8 to cover the fee for both you and Lizzie to take the Tram Car to the other end of the boardwalk. Still holding Lizzie's hand, you pull her to the end of the Tram Car where no one is seated. You both pull yourselves up into the seat and plop yourselves down as the Tram Car begins to drive.

     "I'm going to call the hotel now and see if we can get a room for all of us" you say to Lizzie as you pull your phone out of your pocket.

     "Can you get two separate rooms?" Lizzie says as she bites her lip.

     You smile at Lizzie and nod your head at her request. You dial the number of the hotel and wait for someone to pick up.

     "Hi! I was wondering if you had two rooms available for the night?" You say into your phone.

     "Two rooms? Let me check our availability" the hotel concierge says on the other end.

     You sit on hold watching the boardwalk go by as the Tram Car makes its way down the boardwalk. You feel Lizzie grab your free hand, interlocking your fingers. As she grabs your hand, she leans her head on your shoulder. You smile to yourself as you feel Lizzie place her head on your shoulder, it gave you butterflies.

     "Just your luck, we have two rooms available! What names should I place the rooms under?" The hotel concierge asks through the phone.

     "Please name one room as (Y/N) and the other as Becky" you say back to the concierge through the phone.

     "Okay Ms. (Y/N), the two rooms are booked and your room will be ready for you upon your arrival."

"Thank you for your help!"

     You move the phone from your ear and hit the end button to finish the call. You put your phone into your purse as to not disturb Lizzie who is still resting on your shoulder. You look down at Lizzie and see that she is playing a game on her phone while resting on you. You smile to yourself and lean over to give her a kiss on her head. Lizzie lifts her head as she feels your lips touch her head. She smiles at you and leans in to give you a soft kiss on your lips. She pulls back from the kiss and returns to her game, placing her head back on your shoulder.

     You grab your phone from your purse and call Becky to tell her the plan. You click on Becky's name in your contacts and place your phone to your ear as you wait for her to pick up.

     "HELLO?" You hear Becky shout into her phone, trying to talk over the loud music in the background.

"Becky? Are you and Sarah still at the club?"

     "YEAH WE ARE. HOLD ON IM GOING TO STEP OUT FOR A MOMENT SO I CAN HEAR YOU BETTER."

     You move the phone back from your ear as you hear Becky shouting.
