QUINCY

Today was the day – the day that Quincy would meet Dinah's mothers. The twenty-nine-year-old was mentally freaking out. He rummaged through his closet to try and find the perfect outfit to wear. Dinah assured him that he wouldn't need to dress to impress, but he still wanted to look presentable. First impressions were everything to him. He continued to scan his closet before his eyes locked on a thin, striped button up shirt. He pulled it out and smiled as he found a nice pair of black jeans to go with it and casual loafers. After getting dressed, he tossed his hair up into a bun while standing in the mirror, smoothed out his shirt, and ran over his pearly whites with his tongue before smiling at himself for good measure.

Perfect...

Quincy was pleased at what was staring back at him. He wasn't too dressy, but also wasn't too casual. His mind was still a little nervous about the big meeting with his girlfriend's mothers. To try and ease his worries, his mind drifted to him and the brunette's time at the zoo with Adeya the other day. The sun was shining bright, all the animal exhibits were open, and Adeya had such a good time. He melted every time her and Dinah would watch the animals with excitement – the little one sitting happily on Dinah's shoulders so she could get a better view. She raved about much fun she had with Quincy and Dinah once Ronnie and Luke came to pick her up earlier this morning.

"Don't we look handsome?"

The brunette's alluring voice sounded from behind Quincy as he smiled at her reflection. He turned around in time for Dinah to walk into his arms and greet him with a kiss. His body warmed at the sight of her. Her hair was out and untamed in its curls, cascading down her body that was clad in a tight, red dress. The dress was form fitting and accentuated every curve her body had to offer while being housed in an oversized denim jacket.

"You look so good..." Quincy uttered against Dinah's lips.

He held her close as she giggled, their foreheads touching as she caressed his face. He melted into her touch, every nerve withering away immediately after.
