Halle had been prepping herself for Daemon's party all day. Normani told her about how he held one every year, and how his parents usually made an appearance. She wondered about his brother – if he usually came to these parties. She was a little shocked to find out that no one had seen or heard from him in centuries. She didn't have a lot of knowledge on the Salvatore family, so she was technically going into this blind. Normani talked to her about what to expect from this party – a bunch of pure bloods who were full of themselves and very entitled. The young siren was used to dealing with people of that same caliber, so it wouldn't be too hard for her to play her role.
She allowed Normani to help pick out her dress. It was a sleeveless, pure white dress that left little to the imagine up top. The straps that held it only covered the Circe's nipples, but showcased her magnificent collar bone. She left her locs out and free flowing, but pushed them behind her shoulders to showcase the diamond-studded earrings that were gifted to her years ago. Her makeup was natural, though Normani suggested that she make her eyes pop more with fake lashes. Halle relented and allowed the ebony to put them on. She had to admit, she looked very beautiful.

She looked at Normani and smiled approvingly. The ebony wore a light green, diamond-studded, strapless gown that reminded her so much of Princess Tiana. Her hair was bone straight and parted in the middle, her makeup also very natural.

"Are you the only one here?" Halle asked. "I thought Lani and Solàna would be here, too."
"They never liked these parties," Normani answered. "This is the first time they're ditching it. I told them I'd handle everything. Daemon was surprisingly cool with it anyway. Said the less of his crew the better."
"I thought he trusted you three."
"He does. He just doesn't wanna deal with any business today. He'll most likely spend the day showing you off, anyway."
Halle chuckled before subtly rolling her eyes.
"I meant to ask you," Normani continued, "how'd it go that night? When you two got back from the club?"
