The family of five marveled at the wonderous sights of nature surrounding them as they drove through a one-lane road. They had been travelling for a little while, making their way to Kehlani and Victoria's housewarming celebration. The couple had finally gotten married, and their wedding was beautiful. It reminded Dinah of the private ceremony she and Quincy had when they left the states – personal and romantic. Since Normani and Quincy were, technically, still married, the ebony stood as a witness to Dinah and Quincy's marriage. Once the ceremony was over, the throuple spent the next couple weeks in seclusion on a private island not too far from Brazil.
Ever since then, life had been perfect. Quincy was true to his word – after finalizing plans, the man had a beautiful, wooden home built in the Susquehannock forest. He spent days on end on the site with the construction team he hired, building sturdy foundations, installing different fixtures for each room, even planting some foliage around the outside of the house for added effect.
When the house was ready, he drove his family upstate to see the finished product. To say the women were pleased was an understatement. They had a mini adventure with the kids all throughout the massive space, imagining color schemes and decorations to house the interior with. They even went as far as to dream up plans for the land they had in the back of the house.
Over the course of the next few months, Dinah and Normani worked with the same team Quincy hired to help design the interior. Each room had its own feel to it – different colors, furniture, lighting, etc. They strategically kept their New Hope home in their name in the meantime, having Quincy and the kids stay there until the new house was finished. Eventually, however, they gave the deed to that house to Halle and Ty.
Despite the Circe only coming to Pennsylvania for one reason, she couldn't find herself to leave. She knew Ty wouldn't feel comfortable leaving his home behind, and Chloe already decided to live with Khalid at HQ. She didn't want to separate herself from her sister. When Dinah, Normani, and Quincy thought about it, they couldn't think of a better couple fitting for the house. Ty and Halle fell in love with New Hope right away. And once they were all settled in, they had no worries.
Getting settled at their new home, the new family of five adjusted quickly. Quincy, Normani, and Dinah all shared the master bedroom, but the man still wanted them to have rooms of their own for whenever they wanted to be to themselves. The master bedroom was very wide – industrial pillars lined the wooden walls and roof, with a massive, king-sized bed placed below the floor-to-ceiling windows.
