DINAH

Five hours had gone by fairly quick to the brunette. After her and Quincy had their fun – about a few rounds of it – Adeya joined them for an impromptu family movie session. The movie of choice was Princess and The Frog, which, according to Quincy, was Normani's favorite Disney movie. Dinah chuckled at the fact, seeing how it made sense. Not long after the movie was over did they land on a strip not too far from the airport. Dinah secured the little one's backpack onto her shoulders before picking her up, while Quincy helped Leo grab the overnight bags. The two men put the bags in the trunk of Quincy's rental, which, of course, was a Range Rover, this time, a white one with blacked out wheels.

"Everything's ready," Leo said. "Have a great time. And tell the boys I said hey!"

"Of course," Quincy smiled.

Leo tipped his hat at Dinah, her smiling back at him before the trio piled into the car and headed to the city. This was the first time Dinah had ever been to the west coast. Everything was so different here than it was in Philly.

"Did ya'll land yet?" Normani thought to her.

Dinah smiled at the sound of her voice.

"We did. We're on our way to the city now."

"You're gonna love L.A. The vibe there is second-to-none. Plus, you'll fall in love with the beach."

As soon as the ebony mentioned it, Quincy drove by the beach. The brunette got excited seeing all the people out and about, doing their thing under the sun. She heard Normani laugh as she continued to eye the sights around her.

"I told you, you'd love it. Try and get Q to take you there before sunrise. The sight is so beautiful. Like a scene out of a movie."

"He's done that with you?"

"He did. That beach is actually where Adeya was conceived..."

Dinah's smile grew as she looked back at the little one, her eyes wide with excitement as she continued to watch the sights.

"No wonder she's such an angel," Dinah thought to the ebony. "She was manifested by the sea."

Dinah heard Normani chuckle.

"I just wanted to check in on you and make sure you got there safely. I promise I won't intrude on your time with them. Have a great time. And remember to just be yourself. They're gonna love you."

Dinah smiled.

"Thanks, Mani. I'll talk to you later."

Once the connection was broken, Dinah went back to sight-seeing. She squeezed Quincy's hand as their fingers intertwined. Before long, the twenty-nine-year-old was turning into Hollywood, the iconic Hollywood sign shining bright under the rays of the sun.

"This is insane," Dinah beamed.

"Welcome to California, baby," Quincy said.

The family of three cruised their way through Hollywood before coming into Beverly Hills. The houses they passed seemed like miniature museums to Dinah. Once Quincy slowed down and turned into the massive driveway of a particular mansion, she figured that they had arrived at his dad's home. She got out slowly, gawking at how massive the house was. She almost forgot about the little human she had to retrieve from the car seat in the back. She brought Adeya out of the truck before putting her down and holding her hand. Quincy came up behind her with their bags.
