Ch. 24

Sunday

"I'm going to Aaron's!" I say coming down the stairs and heading to the front door. "Sweetie wait," my dad says walking towards me. "What?" "Be safe and be careful. Okay? Have fun and be home at a decent hour because you do have school tomorrow." "I will dad, I promise. See you guys later." I go to my car and start it up. I am so nervous to go back to Aaron's after everything that happened with Emma. I haven't gone back yet. Why did Hailey and Adam have to have sex while we were at the lake house?

I get to Aaron's house and see that Emma's car is in the driveway. I text Aaron that I'm here and wait for him in my car. I see Aaron open the front door and walk towards me. I get out and say, "Hey." "Hi," he says with a smile. "You ready?" he continues. "No, but I guess I kind of have to be. There is no going back now." Aaron grabs my hand and we walk inside together. Aaron closes the door behind me and we go to his room for a few minutes. Once we are in his room he closes the door and kisses me. "I have a surprise for you." I say taking off my shirt to reveal the black bikini and then going to my bag and pull out a slice of cake. "Oh my gosh, you love me so much." Aaron grabs me and pulls me closer. I'll have cake later" he says with a wink. "No, nope. We are only swimming, I am not having sex here yet." "We technically, already have." "No, I gave you a blowjob here. You have never been inside me here." "Well, that is going to change." "Okay, but not today." Aaron smiles and we go downstairs. The living room is empty and then we hear Mr. and Mrs. Coleman. Aaron comes back with 2 towels and we go outside. Aaron puts the towels on the table and runs and jumps in the water. "Jump in, the water is amazing." I get to the edge of the pool and look down. I see Aaron at the bottom indicating for me to come in. I jump in. Aaron was right the water feels amazing. I come up for air and see Aaron looking at me. I swim to him and get in his arms. We kiss and go underwater. While underwater I pull away and swim to the edge. When I come up Aaron is in the middle of the pool. Once he sees me, he swims to the edge. After a few hours of swimming around Aaron grabs me from behind and pulls me underwater. When we come up we are both laughing, I turn to face him and kiss his nose, then his neck, and then his lips. As we are making out the back door opens and we pull away. Emma is standing at the edge of the pool and it looks like she is contemplating whether she should jump in or not. She ends up jumping in and things gets awkward. Aaron then whispers in my ear, "Just don't think about what happened. Focus on me and don't worry about her." I nod. Aaron's right, I need to forget about what happened between me and Emma for the rest of the day and focus on him. Emma swims to the edge of the pool and looks at the golf course. "Hey want to go to my room?" Aaron asks. I nod, kiss him, and we both swim to the steps. When we get out I see Emma looking at us and a tear roll down her cheek. Aaron sees this, grabs my hand and squeezes it tight.

When we are dried off we go inside and see Mr. and Mrs. Coleman watching TV. "Where are you two going?" Mrs. Coleman asks. "My room." "No, girls in your room, Aaron. You know that." Mr. Coleman says pausing the show. "Please dad. We will leave the door cracked." "Christopher." Mrs. Coleman says looking at her husband. "Okay, fine, but you have to leave the door wide open." "We will." I say assuring them that we will leave the door open. Mr. Coleman continues the show and Aaron and I go upstairs. When we get to his room, Aaron pushes me against the wall and kisses me. "Thank you," he says. "For what?" "For everything. For staying with me after everything that happened. For coming here after everything with Emma. For being the best girlfriend ever." "Of course." "I want you to know that I would never hurt you. No matter what Emma says, I will never break your heart. I love you too much to do anything like that." "I love you too and I know you would never hurt me or break my heart. I would never hurt you either." Aaron kisses me again and I hear someone walk past the room, but I don't care.
