One and Only

Ch. 43

When I wake up, Aaron's arms are still around me. I look over and see Jacob and Emma awake on their phones. I turn around so my head is facing Aaron's chest and I close my eyes. I then feel a soft kiss on the top of my head and I fall back asleep.

I wake up to Aaron, Emma, and Jacob playing MarioKart. Emma looks over at me and says, "Hey, your finally awake." Aaron then kisses the top of my head and I look up at him. He has a smile on his face. "How did you sleep?" "Amazing. That was the most comfortable I have been in 2 months." "Same. I missed having my arms around you and sleeping next to you." "I love you." Aaron kisses me and then says, "I love you too." We kiss again and then pull apart. We look over at Emma and Jacob and they are kissing. I grab a pillow and throw it at them. "Get a room," I say. "No! Don't get a room!" The 3 of us laugh and Aaron hits me with a pillow, making me laugh harder. "We would get a room, but I'm afraid my brother would kill us." Aaron then throws a pillow at Emma.

"I'm hungry. Want to go downstairs and get some food?" Aaron asks me. I nod my head and the 2 of us get up. "Where are you guys going?" Emma asks. "We're going to get food," Aaron answers back. "Okay." Aaron grabs my hand and we go downstairs. Mr. Coleman is in the living room watching TV and Mrs. Coleman is in the kitchen making herself some breakfast. "Hey guys, what do you want for breakfast?" "I can just make a bowl of cereal, if that's okay?" "That is perfectly fine, sweetie. Aaron, what about you?" "I'll have cereal too mom." "Okay, that's pretty easy. Where are Emma and Jacob?" "They're still upstairs." I say while grabbing a bowl. After I say that Emma and Jacob come down the stairs. "Good morning. How did you guys sleep?" "Amazing." Emma and Jacob both say. "Great! What do you guys want for breakfast?" "Um...actually can I talk you and dad about something first?" "Of course!" Mr. Coleman pauses what he is watching and enters the kitchen. Jacob comes to where Aaron and I are eating breakfast with a nervous look on his face. "What are you doing? Why aren't you with Emma?" I quietly ask. "I don't know I panicked. Should I stand next to her?" "Yes." Aaron and I both sayin unison. Jacob then walks over to Emma and grabs her hand where Mr. and Mrs. Coleman won't see. Aaron and I sit next to each other and watch what's happening. "So, um, I have something to tell you guys and I don't really know how to say it." Emma pauses and then continues, "Jacob and I are dating. He asked me to be his girlfriend last night." "Oh my gosh, really?!" Mrs. Coleman says really happy, but Mr. Coleman wasn't saying anything making me nervous. I look over at Aaron and he has the same nervous expression on his face. "Dad, are you mad?" Emma asks. "I'm not mad. I'm happy for you. Jacob, you better not hurt my little girl. She is so important to me and I love her so much." "Ouch." Aaron says sarcastically making me giggle. "I love you too, Aaron." "I promise you sir, I will never hurt Emma. I care about her, I really do." "Okay. We're happy for you guys" Mr. and Mrs. Coleman say. "Thank you," Emma says and hugs them. I smile and finish my cereal. Emma and Jacob make cereal too and sit with Aaron and I. "Before I forget, your father and I are going out for a few hours to get some stuff, so you guys will have the house to yourselves. So be good and don't do anything stupid." Mrs. Coleman says.

With that Mr. and Mrs. Coleman leave to run a few errands.
