Ch. 35

 Sunday

Aaron and I were in my bed watching a movie when my mom walks in. "Aaron, your mom is wondering where you are and says you haven't been answering her calls." Aaron then leans over and grabs his phone and sees 5 missed calls from his mom. "Oh my gosh, I have to go. Thank you, Mrs. Matthews. I'll call you later, Sadie." He said and kissed my cheek. I close my laptop and my mom sits on my bed. "So, you and Aaron have been spending a lot of time together. Have you two been doing anything?" "Oh my gosh, mom!" "What, it is just a question." "Why are you asking me that?" "Because I want to know what is going on in my daughter's life." "But you don't need to know about my sex life. It's none of your business." "I can see why you think that and I understand if you do not want to tell me." "Thank you." "I know you have though." I turned my head toward her. How did she know that? "I am not mad at you. I just want you to stay safe and make sure that you use protection and if you forget, take the morning after pill." "We will. I promise. I am not ready to have a baby. What even brought this up?" "I found the pregnancy test when I was taking the trash out of your bathroom." My eyes got wide. "Like I said, I am not mad. You can explain it if you want, if you don't want to that is fine." "It's not that big of a deal. Aaron and I, did it, and we forgot a condom so the next morning I got the morning after pill and a pregnancy test to make sure I wasn't pregnant and that's it. Luckily, the pill worked and I'm not pregnant." "Well thank you for telling me. I am glad that you were on top of it and that you took the morning after pill." "Can you not tell dad please?" "Sure. You really care about Aaron, don't you?" "Yeah I do. I'm falling in love with him mom and I think he is too." "There's no thinking about it. I know that he is. I see the way he looks at you. Aaron IS in love with you." My mom pulled me in for a hug and I hugged her back. "Well I came in here to see if you would want to do something as a family." "Sure. What did you have in mind?" My mom smiles and I know that we are going to Dave and Buster's. I love that place so much. My parents and I used to go all the time before they started going on those cruises. My mom and I go down stairs and join my dad in the living room. The 3 of us get into the car and head to Dave and Buster's. In the car I pull out my phone and text Aaron.

Me- Hey, I'm might not be able to text a lot tonight because I will be at Dave and Buster's with my parents. I will call you later tonight. I love you.

Aaron♡- Ok. Have fun and I love you too.
