One and Only

Ch. 49

When I wake up Aaron is on his phone and I turn to face him. He sees that I'm awake and says, "Good morning." I smile as he kisses me. I lie back on my side and he does the same. "Can we stay like this forever?" "I would love too, but we have to go home today." "Why? Can't we just go home tomorrow?" "We have school tomorrow." "Ugh, fine." "But, we can stay here as long as you want, as long as we get home by 10." I look at him and smile. I kiss him and he kisses me back. We stay in bed for a few hours until we are super hungry. We get out of bed, put some clothes on, and go get something to eat. "What do you want for breakfast?" he asks. "Aaron, it's 1 p.m." "Just because it's the afternoon doesn't mean we can't have breakfast." "True." I walk past him and grab some leftover pizza. "I'm going to have pizza. You want some?" "Sure. I'll warm it up." "No, I'm eating it cold." "That's disgusting. You want to eat cold pizza." "Yeah, it's so good. Have you ever had cold pizza?" "No, it sounds gross." "Just try it." I hand him a slice of cold pizza and he takes a bite. "So?" "Damn, that's actually good." "Told you." I put the pizza on the island and we eat it. We then go to the couch and watch Disney+. We watch a Disney Channel Original Movie called Frenemies. I haven't seen this movie in a long time and I forgot how good it was.

After the movie it is 3 p.m. so Aaron and I go upstairs to the game room. We play ping pong for a few hours before it is time to pack up our stuff.

We pack up the car and head back. We, once again, blast music all the way home. When we get to my house, Aaron helps me get my stuff out of the Jeep. I hug him and say, "This weekend was amazing. Thank you so much. I love you." I kiss him, he pulls away and says, "I had fun too. I love you so much, babygirl." He kisses the top of my head and watches me go inside. I get inside and say hi to my parents and then go up to my room and fall asleep.

When I wake up I don't feel good. I go to my bathroom and throw up. Oh no. I text Aaron.

Me: Hey, um, so when we had sex on Saturday, did you use a condom?

After a few minutes, Aaron texts me back.

Aaron♡: Um, I don't remember. It all happened so fast. Why?

Me: Well I just threw up.

Aaron♡: Oh, no. Are you going to come to school today?

Me: Yeah, I don't want my parents getting concerned. I'll probably take a pregnancy test when I get home, because I have one at my house.

Aaron♡: Okay. I'll see you at school. I love you.

Me: I love you too.

I pack up my stuff for school and go downstairs. "Hey, are you okay? You don't look too good," my mom asks. "Yeah, I'm fine mom. I'm just really tired." I grab a muffin and go to my car. I get to school and see Aaron at my parking stop. "Hi." He says as I get out of my car. "Hey." I give him a hug and we walk inside. We find our friend group and talk to them while we wait for the bell to ring for first period.

After school

All day during school all I could think about was if I was pregnant or not. I get home and thank goodness my mom and dad are still at work. I go straight to my bathroom and take the pregnancy test out of the cabinet. I then text Emma and Hailey.

Me: Hey can you guys come over? I really need y'all right now.

Emma: On my way.

Hailey: On my way too. Is everything ok?

Me: Kind of. I'll explain when you guys get here.

After about 15 minutes Emma and Hailey are at my door. "Hey, what's up?" Emma asks with a worried look on her face. "So, Aaron and I had sex on Saturday and we can't remember if we used protection. I realized it this morning when I threw up. I'm about to take a pregnancy test and I don't want to be alone." "Oh my gosh. We will always be here for you," Hailey says. "Yeah. Wow. Go take the test and we will be outside the bathroom door when you are done." The 3 of us go upstairs and I go into my bathroom. I take the test out of the box and use it. After I'm done, I put it on the counter and open the door. "How long do you have to wait until you get the results?" Emma asks. "I think about 15 minutes." "What are you going to do if you're pregnant?" Hailey asks. "I don't know. I'm just scared. What if Aaron leaves me?" "Bitch, Aaron won't leave you. He loves you so much. I have never seen him as happy as he is when he's with you and I live with the guy." I give Emma a small smile.

15 minutes later

"Okay, it's time," Hailey says. The 3 of us get up off the floor and I grab the test off the counter. I look at the test and it reads:
