The first date

First scene. RJ is observing Brooke and Jack hugging. Brooke notices him.

Brooke: RJ, come here. 

RJ walks towards them. 

RJ: I guess that we need to get to know each other better. 

Jack smiles.

Brooke: Jack will be staying with us. I will go and prepare the guest room.

Jack: I don't...

Brooke: Please Jack. I won't let you sleep at a hotel. You are staying in LA, right?

Jack: I don't know what I will do.

Brooke: Won't you stay with us for some time? I was thinking that it's the reason why you came in the first place... To spend some time with us. 

RJ: Yeah, please stay.

Jack is overwhelmed. 

Jack: I... I...

Brooke: Jack, we want to get to know you better. Does Nick know that you are here?

Jack: He knows that I'm in LA.

Brooke: Okay. Please call him and tell him that you are here. He could be worried. I am going to prepare your room. 

Brooke leaves. RJ and Jack are alone. The energy is very awkward.

Jack: Do you really want me to stay?

RJ: Sure.

Jack: It just seems like you are not very happy. 

RJ: No.... I am happy. Just surprised. I didn't know that you even knew about me. I knew that there is some boy out there that is biologically connected to me... At some point I even forgot about it.

Jack: Sorry for reminding you. I know it has to be hard that you will have to share your mother with me. Actually... Our mom. 

Next scene. Steffy arrives at work and sees Hope in her office.

Steffy: Hi Hope, how can I help you?

Hope: I wanted to leave some documents for you. I was also searching for the latest photos of Quinn's jewelry line. 

Steffy: What do you need these photos for?

Hope: Eric asked me for them. 

Steffy: I'll handle that.

Hope: Steffy, are you angry with me?

Steffy: Why do you ask?

Hope: Me and Liam... We wanted to be alone this weekend.

Steffy: It's ok. I was mad at first, but I realized that I really needed this time for myself. 

Hope: So, how was your weekend?

Steffy: I went to visit Phoebe's grave. 

Hope: Oh... 

Steffy: And now I have a date.

Hope looked confused. Steffy smirked.

Steffy: Sounds weird, right? I've met Phoebe's old friend there and tonight we will go out. 

Hope: Wow... 

Steffy: I know it's a weird place to get to know people

Hope: Well, any place is good I guess. Sometimes you meet nice people in unexpected places.

Steffy: Yeah that was pretty unexpecting. 

Hope: I hope that you two will have a lovely evening.
