Hope is reading a newspaper in the morning when Diana and Rick come downstairs laughing. 

Hope: Hey...

Diana and Rick are surprised that Hope is already awake.

Diana: Hi Hope!

Rick: Are you awake? 

Hope: As you can see... When you have a little child you don't sleep much... I was with Beth a minute ago and I had a little moment of relax. Why are you here Diana? It's not like I am not happy to see you, but I didn't even know that you and Rick know each other that well.

Diana doesn't know what to say. 

Next scene: Massimo, Nick, Taylor and Brooke are at Marone industries. 

Brooke: I wonder why Jack wanted us all to be here. 

Nick: He just said that he needs all of his important people to be here. 

Massimo: Maybe he and Sally are getting married?

Taylor: So soon?

Brooke: Well they have been dating for months now. 

Taylor: Well I know my son very well and I know he is too young for this.

Brooke: I know my son very well too and I think that if he loves Sally very much then why not? 

Nick: And I know Jack even more and I have no idea what he is or isn't ready for. Ladies... Please. 

Massimo smiles. 

Brooke: You are right. None of us knows why Jack asked us to all be here. 

Massimo: I just hope that he has good news.

Jack and Sally enter the office.

Massimo: Oh, here they are! 

Taylor: Sally is with you?

Jack: Yes... I wanted to say something that includes the both of us.

Brooke: Oh my God! I knew it! There will be a wedding.

Jack: Mom, it's not like that... I mean... We will think about it really soon, but we have other news.

Sally: We will.... We will have a baby.

Nick: My God...

Nick and Massimo are caught off guard and both Taylor and Brooke are smiling. Brooke's eyes filled with tears. 

Sally smiles seeing their reaction and Jack has a forced smile. 

Next scene: Rick and Hope talk at her home. Diana already left.

Hope: Rick, what the hell?

Rick: What? 

Hope: Diana spent the night here, right?

Rick: Maybe.

Hope: Not maybe! She was here at 5 am. 

Rick: Ok, she spent the night in my bed. We are both consenting adults. 

Hope: Rick, a minute ago you were after Caroline... Now all of a sudden you and Diana are sleeping together?

Rick: It's nothing serious! We just enjoy each others company.

Hope: Didn't you think for one second that she might develop feelings for you and she will get hurt? She's a young woman that is still looking for love... 

Rick: I didn't say it can't develop into something more serious.

Hope: Maybe don't have sex with her until you will think more seriously about her! Since you came to LA all you do is cause trouble for the Forresters.
