Douglas is back with Hope

Brooke and Ridge are in the living room.

Ridge: So how long is Jack staying with us? 

Brooke: For as long as he needs.

Ridge: As you wish.

Brooke: You could have more empathy for him.

Ridge: I have empathy for him. Do you see me throwing him out?

Brooke: He is your family too.

Ridge: I know. It's just that... I need to get to know him better. That's all.

Brooke: Better tell me why were you late yesterday? I fell asleep before you came back.

Ridge: I went to visit Thomas and... It made me feel really sad. I went for a couple of drinks. 

Brooke: Ridge!

Ridge: Can't I relax for a minute? I saw my son locked in some room like an animal.

Brooke: He has perfect care. He isn't caged like an animal.

Ridge: Would you like to see your son in a place like that?

Brooke: No and I am not happy that your son has to be in a place like it. 

Doorbell rings. Brooke goes to open the door. She see's Hope and Bridget.

Bridget: Sorry for not letting you know that we are coming.

Brooke: Hi sweetheart... 

They hug.

Hope: Bridget is with me since yesterday. She was scared to come here, but I've convinced her that she has nothing to worry about.

Ridge: Were you scared to face Jack?

Bridget: Bingo... 

Ridge: He seems a bit angry so I don't blame you.

Brooke: Ridge... Please.

Ridge: I'm just saying.

Brooke: I'm sure that Jack will be happy to see you. 

Jack stands at the top of the stairs.

Jack: I am happy. Hi Bridget. 

They smile to each other. 

Next scene: Bill and Liam have a conversation at SP.

Bill: So how are things at home?

Liam: Normal.

Bill: Now that's something new. 

Liam: Yeah... Since Flo, Shauna, Zoe and Thomas are gone.. We can calm down. 

Phone rings.

Bill: Hello? Karen? Of course let her in. 

Liam: Aunt Karen is here?

Karen enters Bill's office with Douglas.

Bill stands up and takes Douglas in his arms. 

Bill: Hi little guy. 

Liam: Aunt Karen, why are you here?

Karen: I want to visit Thomas in the hospital and ask him to allow Hope to raise him... Douglas misses her too much. I can't continue to keep them apart... I just wanted to ask you if you are ok with helping to raise Douglas, Liam? 

Liam is confused. 

Next scene: Jack and Bridget are in the garden alone. 

Bridget: I'm sorry that I didn't understand how much you have suffered.
