A misunderstanding

Brooke and Jack continue their conversation. 

Brooke: I can't take it... You seem to dislike RJ for no reason at all.

Jack: I... I just... I feel jealous. I guess.

Brooke: There is no reason. It's not RJ's fault that he was born in different circumstances. 

Brooke puts hands on her face and starts crying.

Jack: Mom... 

Jack walks towards her and touches her arm.

Ridge walks in. 

Ridge: What is going on?

Brooke: Nothing... It's fine Ridge.

Ridge: Fine? What are you saying? It's not fine.

Jack: It's my fault. I'm sorry.

Ridge: Listen Jack, I'm happy that you could reconnect with your biological mother and that you live in LA, but this can't be happening. You can't make Brooke cry. She was fighting for you when you were a child and she's fighting for you now. 

Jack: I... I have to go.

Brooke: Jack...

Jack: It's ok... I will talk to you later. 

Jack walks out. 

Ridge: What did he do?

Brooke: He is... Hurt that RJ got the cabin.

Ridge: What?

Brooke: He said that he is jealous.

Ridge: I understand that he can feel left out. You were not in his life for so long, but it's not RJ's fault. He can blame Nick for it.

Next scene: Liam arrives at Steffy's. 

Liam: I'm here. Steffy?

Steffy: Oh, hi Liam... 

Liam: The door was open.

Steffy: Come here, I ordered some vegan pizza.

Liam: Wow, you really didn't have to. Thanks... So why did you need to talk to me?

Steffy: You know I loved you. 

Liam: Yes... I loved you too. 

Steffy: You are so happy with Hope...

Liam: I am... What is it all about?

Steffy: I was in despair for so long. Ever since you left until some days ago.

Liam: So the new guy helps?

Steffy: He does. He really does. That's why I want to make something and I wanted you to know before I do it.

Liam: Yes?

Steffy: The photo...

Steffy looked at the photo of her and Liam.

Steffy: It can't be there anymore... It's disrespectful to Finn.

Liam: I understand. Actually you didn't even have to ask me for my opinion. This is your home now.

Steffy: Thank you. 

Next scene: Hope calls Brooke.

Brooke: Hi Sweety, how are you?

Hope: I'm fine... Ok, not really... 

Brooke: Why? What's wrong?

Hope: Steffy asked Liam to come to her... Alone.
