Caroline and Rick continue talking.

Caroline: Is this a sick joke?

Rick: It's not... So basically... My sister thought that Beth is dead for months. Thomas found out and instead of telling Hope and Liam he kept it a secret.

Caroline: Rick your story is crazy! Stop!

Rick: Look... A guy named Reese lied to Hope and Liam that Beth died. My sister passed out during labor...

Caroline: Oh my God...

Rick: He placed another persons dead baby in my sisters arms and told her it's Beth... And he sold Beth. 

Caroline: Stop saying these crazy things! 

Rick: I will tell you the whole story... Just be patient. 

Next scene: Nick and Taylor continue talking.

Nick: I don't like the way you talk about Brooke and her kids... You know I was once Hope's father figure...

Taylor: Well Hope stole my daughter's husband... Forgive me that I am not her biggest fan. 

Nick: Honey, I don't know the whole history, but Steffy is happy so what's the point of this anger?

Taylor: It's because I'm scared. 

Nick: Of what?!

Taylor: That Brooke's child will again be ruining the happiness of one of my children. 

Nick looks confused. 

Next scene: Caroline sits on the couch looking sad and shocked.

Rick: So what is the whole story...

Caroline: I don't believe you.

Rick: Oh I think you do... That's why you are so sad. Caroline I can help you.

Caroline: I think you've helped enough... 

Rick: Caroline...

Caroline: Leave me alone!!! 

Rick: I wanted to help you, can't you see it?

Caroline: By creating a lie?! Are you out of your damn mind Rick?! 

Rick: Caroline.. I want to save you from making a huge mistake.

Caroline: Go! 

Rick looked at Caroline with really sad eyes and left her apartment. 

Caroline turned around and saw Douglas.

Douglas: Mommy..?

Caroline: Oh honey...

Caroline hugged Douglas.

Caroline: Don't worry. It's ok... Mommy is only a bit sad.

Douglas: How does he know that Daddy was hiding Beth from mommy Hope and Liam?

Caroline is shocked.

Caroline: What did you say?

Douglas: You didn't know?

Caroline starts crying. 

Next scene: Hope and Liam arrived home. 

Hope: I will call Donna in a moment and tell that to bring Beth home.

Liam: Okay, I will take a shower.

Hope: Wait... Rick is not here...

Liam: Maybe he is in his bedroom?

Hope: Liam... The bottle... On the table.

Liam looks and see's an empty bottle od vodka.

Liam: God.. Rick?! Where are you man? I will check upstairs.
