Outsmarted

Hope and Liam talk in the living room.

Hope: Kelly and Beth are napping. 

Liam: Good... I could see that Kelly isn't calm. She saw that Steffy and Finn were stressed.

Hope: Children aren't stupid. They can feel things.

Liam: God... Can you imagine what Steffy and Finn are feeling right now?

Hope: No... But I can imagine. 

Liam: Sheila came into Steffy's life and took so much from her.

Hope: Yes. First her mother disappeared for years because of Sheila... Then this. 

Liam: Yeah and many little things in between. 

Hope: I know... I am just praying for Ash's return. 

Macy and Deacon enter the living room.

Deacon: Hey kids, any news about Sheila and the baby?

Macy: Deacon told me everything. It's devastating. 

Hope: Ash will be found. I believe it.

Macy: Well hopefully he won't have to live without his mother for years... Like my Brittany. 

Liam and Hope look worried.

Next scene: Sonya is waiting in an alley when Mike arrives.

Mike: Hey, why did you call me? And why are we meeting here?!

Sonya: Uncle... This is something we cannot discuss neither at my home where my mother also lives and neither at your home where... You have Sheila and that baby. 

Mike: So... It's a secret? 

Sonya: Uncle Mike... I know that Sheila is a wanted criminal... And that baby is Steffy Forrester's son... 

Mike is shocked.

Next scene: Nick and Jack talk at Marone industries.

Jack: Grandpa is really invested  in finding Sheila and Ash. 

Nick: I don't blame him. I would do anything for you and that little guy in Sally's tummy.

Jack: Guy? How do you know that?

Nick: Just a gut feeling.

Jack: Well... We were supposed to check yesterday, but... You know.

Nick: Yeah.

Jack: I feel like I wouldn't even feel excited about finding out my own baby's gender because I feel so bad for Steffy and Finn. I feel guilty each time I feel some happiness.

Nick: You and Sally are fine and I am so incredibly grateful for it. I am trying to comfort Taylor, but you can't even imagine how hard that is.

Jack: I suppose she isn't coping very well?

Nick: She doesn't eat, she doesn't sleep... She cries all the time and I don't have any good words. I mean the situation is tragic... What can I say? "It will be ok"? I don't know if it will be ok...

Jack: You love her.

Nick: I do. 

Jack: Maybe go home and... Be with her. I will take care of everything over here.

Nick: Are you kidding me?! Dad is at Steffy's and in touch with some detective already... We need to be here and work. Both of us.

Jack: But mom Taylor... Aren't you worried that... Ridge will be with her a lot?
