No hope for the future

It's next day at Forrester creations. It's a meeting regarding Brittany. Eric, Quinn, Thorne, Hope, Steffy, Ridge, Thomas and Brooke are there.

Eric: Thank you all for coming. We have a serious decision to make and I hope that we all have the goodness in our hearts to make the most sensible decision.

Steffy: I hope that everyone will be sensible enough to see me as a victim in all of this. I never started a war with Brittany. She did it first.

Thomas: After everything that I found out...I don't blame Steffy for not wanting Brittany around. At least for now.

Thorne: This is insane! My daughter wouldn't be working on Steffy's line for crying out loud.

Ridge: Steffy doesn't feel good and everyone is refusing to give her some time... Why? 

Steffy: Uncle Thorne, I did the right thing... I brought Brittany straight to you after she went after my man again and again... But what you are asking of me is too much. One day... Maybe. Not now.

Eric: Steffy, you know that you are talking about your cousin and my granddaughter? 

Steffy: I know. I wish her the best and I hope that she and uncle Thorne can be happy, but not at my expense. I won't reward people that wanted to destroy my life. What Brittany did was cruel.

Ridge: Let's vote.

Thorne: I vote for my daughter to be a model at Forrester Creations.

Eric: I vote yes. My granddaughter isn't flawed, but so are all of us.

Brooke: I vote yes. Let's give his girl a chance. 

Thorne smiles at Brooke.

Thomas: I vote no. Sorry uncle Thorne. Steffy is my sister.

Quinn: I don't know.

Eric: What?

Quinn: Sorry Eric, but I don't see any point in creating more chaos in the company. If Steffy and Brittany will argue then... I can't vote.

Eric looks disappointed.

Ridge: I vote no. 

Steffy: Hope? What about you?

Hope: I'm sorry Steffy, but... It's not fair that Brittany gets treated this way when everyone in the room committed similar or even worse crimes and was almost instantly forgiven. 

Steffy: That is not true... 

Hope: I am 100% with Thorne. I want to give his daughter a fair chance.

Steffy: There is nothing fair about this Hope. 

Eric:  4 vote for yes.  3 votes for no.

Steffy: No.

Brooke: No?

Steffy: It doesn't work that way. Voters that don't have stock... They don't matter. Me and my dad plus my brother... We have the majority. 

Brooke: You have to be kidding me! The voting didn't go as you expected so all of a sudden you change the rules?

Steffy: Brooke, I had to learn how to survive since my childhood. 

Hope shakes her head. 

Steffy: I am making one more decision. Hope for the future won't be funded until I'll change my mind. Do you agree dad?

Brooke and Hope look at Ridge looking scared. Ridge looks confused.

Steffy: Dad?

Ridge: Uhmm... I'm sorry... I'm sorry Hope. I agree with Steffy.
