The scheme begins

The engagement party at Brooke's house continues. 

Everyone gathered around Coco to see her ring. RJ looks at Jack's direction and walks towards him. 

RJ: Hi, won't you congratulate us?

Jack: Congratulations. 

RJ: Thank you. 

Stephen walks towards them.

Stephen: My two handsome grandsons. 

Jack and RJ smile. 

Stephen: I wish you and Coco all the happiness in the world. 

RJ: Thanks Grandpa. We are really the happiest couple I know.

Jack: I will go to meet Steffy's new man. 

RJ: Sure.

Jack goes to Steffy and Finn and Stephen looks at RJ.

Stephen: Is everything ok with Jack?

RJ: Maybe he is tired. 

Stephen: Maybe... This kid works a lot. 

RJ: Do you know why Flo is busy?

Stephen: No... Maybe she was scared to come.

RJ: Or maybe... She and Wyatt had something special planned?

Next scene: Flo and Wyatt are in bed. Flo is watching her ring with her head on Wyatt's chest.

Flo: I can't wait to tell mom.

Wyatt: I don't really wanna think about our mothers now. The moment we tell them they will plan a huge wedding.

Flo's smile disappears. 

Flo: Yeah... A huge wedding where everyone will feel forced to pretend that they are happy.

Wyatt: Well Shauna and my mom will be ecstatic. 

Flo: Yeah, but the rest? 

Wyatt looks worried.

Flo: I know you think about it too. 

Wyatt: Well, one day everyone will be happy for us including my dad and all your family. Your grandpa looks pretty invested in you.

Flo: He really is... I just wish that we could get married without the whole wedding part. 

Wyatt looks like he has an idea. 

Next scene: RJ and Thomas go to the kitchen to take some more ice for the drinks. 

Thomas: I have to say that I didn't expect it. 

RJ: Well... It was supposed to be a surprise. 

Thomas: And it was... The other surprise for me was the Brooke didn't look like she wants to kill me... By now.

RJ: See? Everything will get better. 

Thomas: So why did you propose now? You are still so young. You just start to work... 

Coco stands behind them, but they don't hear her yet. She smiles and wants to hear why RJ wants to marry her now.

RJ: Honestly? I love Coco... 

Coco smiles even more.

RJ: But I would absolutely not propose now if...

Coco's smile disappears.

RJ: If Jack wouldn't show up.

Thomas: Wait... What?

RJ: He has his eyes for my girlfriend. I feel I have to claim what's mine... He had to see that Coco is mine. That it's not some high school romance he can destroy.
